Hide shipping methods with free shipping available

    I want to hide the other shipping methods when free shipping is available. I found the following code that WooCommerce offers in their Documentation, but when I post this in the theme function.php the site goes blank.
    Please can you direct me, how to get this to work.

    Or do you know another way to address this?

    I too would like to hide the drop-down menu of shipping rates…..what is the code to the do this?
