Help with products tabs - by Kireaki - on WordPress WooCommerce support

This is a little bit frustating for me cause of my not best knowedge and your documentation is really not helping a lot and for me it’s little bit confusing

I want to make something like this on my home page
I can’t find way to do it or edit it with visual composer ( whole thing for me to using is so i don’t have to deal with codes or shortcodes)
Problem i have is editing this in Classc mode not Visual Composer mode

Also where do i find categories ID

Wouldn’t it be easier if you made Visual Composer shortcode for ppl who are not so good with editing

Hello,

Are you using the latest version of Visual Composer plugin https://www.8theme.com/download-plugins/ ?
Also you have to recreate Tabs element in VC editor as VC authors modified the code in the recent update. So remove the current Tabs element, add a new one with your content and save the page.

I’ve purchased theme yesterday, and I just checked all plugins are up to date, when i import simple pages in theme options there you have outdated VC tabs

Can you please tell me where and how should i add product/categories slidesr in this tabs cause there is no option to choose like in outdated

Hello,

In the demo content tabs were created with old VC version. Now VC authors changed the code in Tabs element, so you have to remove outdated element and add a new one from the VC version 4.11.2 (make sure you’re using this exact version).

To add categories you need use Product Categories element in VC editor, but before recreate the Tabs element.

VC is 4.11.2

just tested how you said, can you help me with this now

i’ve set up like you said but now how do i choose right category when i can set only number of categories http://prntscr.com/axmfue

and i get this http://prntscr.com/axmmh4 i need to choose products from one category not categories and i want to set up like you have on demo not like this http://prntscr.com/axmm3o

Hello,

You can write id of a parent category in Parent ID field and subcategories of main category will be shown. Or use Woo Product Categories element instead of our element and there you can select what categories to display.

If you want to display products from a category you need use Products element in VC editor.

VC was updated 07.04.2016 – ver 4.11.2
And your demo still showing outdated tab and it’s not same design I bought theme 2 days ago and it have old tabs look and I really liked that look i mean on this http://prntscr.com/axst0g that was and still is really important to me cause this is just not want i need http://prnt.sc/axsty7 I’m really tired and im not expert in this, that’s why I wanted a theme with Visual composer so it’s easy to set up, this have been really frustrated for my whole 2 days expirience with your theme 🙁

We can just move from categories products or what ever,can you just show me a print screen http://prnt.sc/axsu3v what i need to click to show your look in demo

Hello,

That design http://prntscr.com/axst0g was used in old Tabs element. As VC authors modified it the tabs design was changed.
View different styles in the Tabs settings in Style field.

If VC updated style why is your theme still showing style that can’t be edited ?

this is what new tabs styles look like http://prntscr.com/axt39b it’s not even close to style you have in your demo

In other words it’s complitely frustrating to deal with this cause your demo at the end is not matching current design editing options and i wish i knew this before i bought these theme

We can change tabs style for you adding some css code. Please upload your site to any web host and provide WP admin credentials in Private Content.

I’m uploading site now on live server, my question is if you change css code will it be something that i can edit or i will have to ask you all the time to change or add something in tab for me.

We’ll just give you css code to style tabs element.
You can add content to tabs yourself.
