Hi
I use the Google font that came with the Royal theme and it looks great in Chrome.
But it looks like crap in Internet Explorer, is it suppose to be like that or have I missed something?
Hello,
Please add this code in Theme Options > Custom CSS > Global Custom CSS:
body {
font-family: "Open Sans";
}
.menu > li a {
font-family: "Roboto";
}
h1, h2, h3, h4, h5, h6 {
font-family: "Roboto",Georgia,sans-serif;
}
Best regards,
Jack Richardson.
Hello Jack
Thank you for your fast reply. I’ve done what you explained now, but I see no difference in IE. Still need your help.

Please see Private content.
This the common google fonts behaviour. We may add custom font for certain page content which can be displayed fine in IE. Please specify what elements loads very different.

To me almost all text look strange in IE, if you take a look it’s everything that looks like Times New Roman (or similar).
But I’m wondering if my settings in Theme options-Typography is correct? Nothing is selected here, not sure it was like this before, maybe something has happened during an update or so. Or is it supposed to be like this? Everything still looks ok in chrome, even though nothing is selected in the typography section. Can you maybe send me a screen dump of what the default settings should be like here? If this is what’s causing it.
Hello,
I have edited the code in custom.css. Please check your site now.

Hi Brian
Thank you for quick help as always. It looks good on IE11 (some minor adjustments needed), but for IE9 it’s a complete mess.. (see private content for image). Can something be done to sort it out?
Hello,
Please disable all 3rd-party plugins and check your site after that.
Thank you.

Hello
Thank you for your advice. I found out that there are 3 plugins that causes this. Screet Live chat, YITH WooCommerce wishlist and Woocommerce product filter. The wishlist causes the biggest problems, the other two just remove the background. All three toghether is a disaster. Would you be able to recommend similar plugins that are compatible? The woocommerce product filter plugin is the one that I definitely can’t be without.
Apart from the plugin mess, there are a few things that the custom css didn’t fix. It seems like the text from woocommerce still have font Georgia. I.e. product names, price, add to cart text, product categories, more info tag, reviews tag. As well as breadcrumbs and back text. Could we add something to the custom css that takes care of this as well?
Thanks!
Hello,
Please take our apologies for inconveniences.
We notified our developers regarding this issue and it will be fixed in the next theme update.
Thank you for your understanding.

Eva Kemp.
That is great, thank you!
Will this also solve the problem with the text from woocommerce, or can we add something to the custom css to fix it?
Hello @marlinda,
Yes, this will also be fixed.
Thank you for your understanding and patience.
