    Hi,

You may use Insert Headers and Footers plugin to add Google analytics code.

Well of course there are plugins I am just surprised such a extensive theme does not have the option to input header or custom java script in a section. Alot of other themes seem to support this.

    Hi

I have this same request so I hope you don’t mind me commenting here.

I think adding code directly to the theme is preferable to installing the insert headers n footers plugin. Reason being, that plugin has not been updated for the past 4 months and not tested with wordpress latest versions. Lesser plugins is always a good idea.

It’s true that this code will be lost when we change the theme but that’s a future problem which may or may not even happen if we stick to this theme for the foreseeable future.

Will be great if you guys could consider letting us add the code directly to the theme somewhere?

I found a workaround. For those that wish to include the code directly.

    1) Create static block with raw js, insert the google analytics tracking code
    2) Go to header builder > html blocks > insert the static block
    3) Drag it to the top header section using the header builder

    It works.

    Hello, @Brunos

That suggestion works if you use WPBakery page builder and there is such an element in the list of page elements. In case you use Elementor then install and activate Insert Headers and Footers plugin and use that to add your GA code.

Thank you for clarification. I understand now why it was not possible for me by using Elementor…

I found the plugin ‘WooCommerce Google Analytics Integration’ that does the work easily.
