GMAPS plugins fails to download and install

This plugin fails to install every time. It says it’s required for the theme to work but it won’t download and it’s a paid plugin.

I also get a message saying “8theme” Core needs to be updated up to 1.2.6 version but when i try to i get the following error message:

Update Failed: The package could not be installed. PCLZIP_ERR_BAD_FORMAT (-10) : Unable to find End of Central Dir Record signature

Thanks for contacting us.
You can install and update plugins manually via Dashboard or FTP.
Please read about the updating here – https://xstore.helpscoutdocs.com/article/37-plugins-update
In case if automatic plugin installation fails (as a rule it is because of your server settings), you can install them manually via your Dashboard: Plugins > Add New > Upload Plugin > Browse plugins archives. Or via FTP, by uploading and extracting the plugin zip files into wp-content/plugins folder. You can find the zip files for plugins installation here – https://www.8theme.com/downloads/
