    Hello,

The glitch I had on mobile with the off-canvas sidebar is back after updating to the latest version 8.2.4 .

You can check my previous ticket 2 weeks ago about this problem.

The glitch is visible only when you see the site on a real mobile device.

I replicate what you asked me before , which means:

1/ I changed the sidebar position to TOP or BACK and it works. The problem is solved.

Then I checked the next step:

2/ I changed the sidebar position to OFF-CANVAS + disabled Sticky Sidebar. The problem is back.

Please take a look on a real mobile device.

I hope you can fix this glitch, because if it happens every time I update the theme, I will be in trouble with my clients.

You can find WP admin access and ftp access inside the Private content area

    Thank you,
    Regards

    Hello,

We didn’t change anything in last update that could make any changes for off-canvas sidebar so we consider the main reason of the issue could be in caching on your web-site. Could you check without caching plugins or if you have caching on your server then contact with your server support to disable caching and check again. If the reason is in caching then you should ask plugin’s/hosting how make it compatible with mobile version. I think that main issue could be in working of wp_is_mobile() that is official WP function but many cache plugins have issues with it. Remind one more time that we did no changes in latest update that caused such issue so it is a local issue.

    Hello,

    Thank for your answer.
I disabled caching plugin (LiteSpeed cache) and the problem is the same.

This is not a caching problem because just before to update to the latest version of your theme, I created a clone of my website in another domain name which is on the same server. (so it use the same server cache)

On that clone website, it is the previous version of your theme 8.2.3
    ( I restored a backup the day before I update to 8.2.4)
And everything is fine, there is no glitch at all.

    To sum up:
Clone website: Theme version 8.2.3 → No glitch
Production website: Theme version 8.2.4 → There is a glitch

These 2 websites are exactly the same, same plugins and on the same server. The only difference is the Theme version.

I have added on the Private content area the credentials of my clone website with the theme version 8.2.3
So, can you please check these 2 websites, and compare them for troubleshooting?

    Thank you,
    Regards

    Hello,

We did checked the difference between the previous version and the latest one of our Theme and Core plugin.
The main difference was in the code of off-canvas script rendering. In the previous version the file with off-canvas was loaded just if any settings (desktop sidebar canvas / mobile sidebar canvas ) were enabled. Right after it was loaded it created off-canvas for both cases (desktop and mobile even if only mobile canvas was enabled).
Example of issue you may check on your copied site -> https://prnt.sc/0jVmMyn4v82X .
In latest version we fixed the issue because many customers wrote us about it and wanted to get it fixed. But in your case the fix created the issue you face on mobile. We cannot find the fix for your specific case, truly saying. We can only propose next ways to make this situation more stabilize.

1/ We will upload for you old-version script file to your child-theme and you will have no issues on mobile but you will have issue on desktop (off-canvas will be always created)

2/ You can enable off-canvas for desktop and make your shop page look in next way -> https://prnt.sc/JN3kK4wl8BWB and change columns number due to your imagination.
3/ We can give you a refund, and you will find a theme you would be more satisfied.

Sorry for such an answer, but it is not always possible to make compatibility
with everything and for everyone. Sometimes there are issues that are better to skip in fixing to prevent creating a few more new ones.

    Regards

    Hello,

    Thank you for your answer.

My priority is mobile device (90% of my clients visit my website on mobile)
So as long as there is no problem on mobile device, that’s ok for me.

Your solution n.2 (You can enable off-canvas for desktop ) is fine for me,
so I enabled off-canvas for desktop (and also for mobile of course), but the glitch is still here on mobile.( I cleared all cache)
It doesn’t work. If it works that’s the best solution for me.

If the n.2 solution doesn’t work, the solution n.1 is also good for me.(We will upload for you old-version script file to your child-theme)

I put screenshot on Private area.

    Thank you,
    Regards

    Hello,

    Unfortunately, it doesn’t work.
The issue still persists. (I have cleared all caches and also gave a try disabling my cache plugin but nothing works)

I don’t want to bother you any longer with my problem.

So I would like to ask you a favor:

Can you delete the old version file and put back again the new one?
I know a developer from Codeable and I will ask him to fix my particular case.
Could you tell me what files he has to work on, and also if you have any suggestions for him.

I promise not to bother you with this problem again.

    Thank you,
    Regards

I hope your developer will find the reason of the issue and will fix it for you.
If you will know what was the fix, please, notify us so that we could know such details in the future.
