    Hi,

could you please tell me how to correctly set up vertical product filters in xstore without additional plugin? Like in this example shop https://xstore.8theme.com/elementor/demos/minimal-fashion02/product-tag/fashion/
I can only find widget for brands, categories and status.

    2 more question:
I have attributes set um with values/terms like “10 cm, 15 cm, 20 cm,…), i.e. alphanumeric. Can the range sliders deal with this?

Can individual terms/vales be excluded from the filter?

    Thank you, best regards
    Martin

    Hello, @Martin,

Thank you for using our theme and for contacting us.

1/ Should you desire to configure your shop’s sidebar filters to mirror the layout featured in our Xstore minimal-fashion02 demo, we kindly ask that you proceed to the following location within your dashboard: XStore > Widgets > Shop Sidebar Area. Once there, please add the “Xstore Filter Products by Price” and “Xstore Swatches Filter” widgets according to your specific needs.

For your convenience, we have provided an image for reference to assist you in this process.

2/ Filter product by Price widget has been set under Appearance> Widgets > edit the content of the Shop sidebar area. https://ibb.co/FgXrx3V We regret to inform you that it does not work with attributes.

The Filter products by price widget takes price range automatically based on the min and max price of existing products.

3/ Can individual terms/vales be excluded from the filter?

We are writing to acknowledge receipt of your recent inquiry. However, we find that the details provided are somewhat ambiguous. To ensure that we can assist you effectively, we kindly request that you elaborate on your issue or specify your objectives in greater detail.

Once we have a clearer understanding of your needs, we will be better positioned to provide you with the appropriate assistance.

    Thank you for your cooperation.

    Best regards,
    The 8Theme Team.

    Hello @Tony Rodriguez,

I double-checked, but a widget named “Swatches filter” does not exist. I also could not find one under a different name. I hope you don’t mind the remark that the screenshot you sent me is very old. It shows the widget area of a much earlier version of wordpress.

If I understood you correctly, there is only one range slider, namely the one for price. However, “swatches” must refer to attributes, right?

3/ Can individual terms/vales be excluded from the filter?

It can happen that an attribute in total has more terms configured than actually make sense for a filter widget. Therefore, only some terms would be included in the filter widget, others left out. Maybe “swatches filter” (or whatever it is called now) can do that.

    Best regards
    Martin

    Hello @Martin,

    Thank you for your response.

1/ Please make sure that you are using the latest theme version and core plugin on your site – 9.2.4 & 5.2.4

Furthermore, we would appreciate it if you could create temporary wp-admin access and share the details via the private content area. This will allow us to review your settings and better understand the issue at hand.

We kindly recommend that you take a complete backup of your site before proceeding.

3/ We regret to inform you that the current theme does not support this feature at the moment. You can post your request on our Taskboard at https://www.8theme.com/taskboard/. If it receives enough votes from other customers, our development team will consider adding it in one of the upcoming updates.

Additionally, You can use any third-party plugin for it, which better meets your requirements but at your own risk.

    Thank you for your understanding.
