    Hello,

    Update from 4.28.1 to 6.x will cause some style changes. So, I would recommend you to create staging site (full copy of the production) and provide us with WP Dashboard and FTP access to staging site. We’ll help you with theme update, you’ll check if everything is suitable for you after update. If yes then we’ll help you with production site update, if no then we’ll fix issues and move staging to production only once everything is fine.

    Hello,

    Yes, everything is correct. As a rule update of the site takes 1 hour + a few hours of the test from your site and improvements in case you did not make a lot of changes in the child theme. If you made a lot of changes there then it will take more time and maybe some assistance from your side, depending on changes.
