    Hello,
After many times my website falls down I have reinstalled everything from zero. I have found one of the problem – “Simple 301 Redirects” plugin. when I activate it – in some time my website shows error 503 and some other error. without activating this plugin my website works wrong. the homepage shows posts instead of the “home page”.
In appearence ->customize -> static front page I have selected “home page” as it was before when the website worked fine.

I might be wrong that the home page doesn’t work correctly because of this plugin. if yes, please help me to find the reason and to return my home page.

other issue I have is revoslider. It take too much resources and loads the page to long. I was told that by my hosting provider. Right now it is deactivated.
Please help me to resolve these issues. Login is in private content. thanks.

    Please, contact administrator

when I deactivate “Remove slug from custom post type” plugin the website shows as it has to be, but no links work (when I press any menu button, the website fall down again).
When I activate this plugin? the website shows the wrong home page.

    Please suggest!!!!

    Hello,

As I see you use old version of the theme. Please update to the latest.
Don’t forget to make backup your site.
Here is video tutorial how to upda theme:
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KdWESIIPU1k
After updating theme please update Revolution Slider, WPBakery Visual Composer plugins to the latest version.
You can download the latest plugins versions at this link https://www.8theme.com/download-plugins/ ,
enter your purchase code of the theme to get the plugins.

Sorry, but we don’t provide any support for some third-party plugins.

    Regards,

    Thank you!

I have updated everything as you said. And It seems that the page works now. But I can’t register the plugins, it says my purchase code is wrong. (I opened another thread on it.)

    1. However, the home page still shows wrong. Why do I see posts on my home page instead of the page as I build it? even when I go to pages -> home page and press “view” it shows posts but not the homepage.

    2. I have this notice in my backend:
“Your theme has bundled outdated copies of WooCommerce template files – if you encounter functionality issues on the frontend this could be the reason. Ensure you update or remove them (in general we recommend only bundling the template files you actually need to customize). See the system report for full details.”

What does it mean and how to fix it? I have updated all plugins and woocommerce is also up to date.

    Please help me with this!
    Thank you!

strange… It seems like I didn’t change anything, but now the home page is ok, but when I press on any product I see the page 404.
    Why the links dont work?
For example: the link http://www.platinum-sun.com/rashguard-for-women-rainbow redirects to http://www.platinum-sun.com/rainbow and can’t be found…..

    Please help.

    Hello,

The problem is with permalinks settings and your .htaccess file.
I’ve changed the settings in wp-admin panel > Settings > Permalinks and renamed .htaccess file via FTP.
Please clear your browser cache and check the pages again.
You need check the rules you wrote in .htaccess file.

“Your theme has bundled outdated copies” error won’t affect your site at all.
We modified some Woocommerce files and moved them to legenda/woocommerce directory and when you updated Woocommerce old version is written in our modified files. So, you shouldn’t worry abut it.

    Thank you.
    Regards,
    Eva Kemp.
