Front end not work.
Hello, Gprx,
Thank you for providing access. We have fixed this issue, please check it.
Best regards,
The 8Theme Team
Thank you for the quick resolution of the front-end issue.
However, I would like to understand what caused the problem, as I carefully followed all the installation instructions provided.
Hello, Gprx,
The issue was related to heavy Elementor widgets, specifically the carousels. We have now updated them to the latest optimized version. These improvements are already available in the new version of the theme.
Best regards,
8Theme Team
Thank you for the response and for identifying the issue related to the heavy Elementor widgets, especially the carousels. I appreciate that you’ve already implemented optimizations and included them in the latest version of the theme.
However, I’m currently experiencing several additional issues that are significantly affecting usability:
I’m unable to implement the header used in the demo page of the “Game” theme.
Even when selecting a different header from the available template options, the loading process runs indefinitely and the selected header is never applied.
Entering “Edit Page with Elementor” takes an unusually long time before it becomes responsive, which makes the editing experience quite frustrating and inefficient.
It’s also worth noting that, on the same server and hosting environment, I have not encountered any of these issues when using other themes such as Jupiter X or XStore. This leads me to believe the problem is not related to my setup.
To be honest, I’m starting to question whether this was a good purchase. I don’t find it acceptable to rely on support for basic tasks like configuring the theme independently. Already during the initial installation, I had to reach out for help because the frontend was not visible due to the same issue with heavy Elementor widgets (carousels).
I would appreciate a more stable and user-friendly experience, as at the moment it is quite difficult to work efficiently with the theme.
Thank you in advance for your assistance.
Hello, Gprx,
Thank you for your detailed feedback – we completely understand your frustration, especially when it affects basic usability.
After a deeper investigation, we was able to identify the root cause of these issues. While the theme uses heavy Elementor widgets (such as carousels), the main problem was actually related to the PHP memory limit on the server.
The default memory limit was too low for handling complex Elementor layouts used in the XStore demos. This caused:
• the frontend to fail loading,
• the header builder to hang indefinitely,
• and very slow or unresponsive behavior when opening “Edit Page with Elementor”.
To resolve this, We increased the WordPress memory limits:
define(‘WP_MEMORY_LIMIT’, ‘256M’);
define(‘WP_MAX_MEMORY_LIMIT’, ‘512M’);
After applying this change, the issues with header loading and Elementor performance were resolved.
So in this case, the behavior was not caused by incorrect setup or misuse, but rather by insufficient server resources for this type of theme and builder combination.
It’s also worth noting that themes like Jupiter X may appear to work under lower memory limits because they rely on a lighter structure or fewer complex widgets. XStore, especially with advanced demos like “Game”, requires more resources to function properly.
At this point, the theme is working as expected with the adjusted configuration. However, if needed, we can also optimize specific pages further to improve performance and reduce resource usage.
We completely understand your expectations regarding stability and ease of use, and I appreciate your patience while we identified the actual cause.
Best Regards,
8Theme’s Team
