Forbiddenn, 403 error - by Riley - on WordPress WooCommerce support

    Hello,
    I have done an upploloading of whishlist and woocommerce on thursday and after that i couldn’t have any access to my site from my house : the message is “Forbiddenn, 403 error / or Forbidden, You don’t have permission to access / on this server”.
    However, I can have the access from another place and from my iphone but when i click on all the products, they drive on an error page. I haven’t done any things else than upploading the two pluggins.
    It would be formidable if you could give me an hand to solve that problem as i can’t work on “maroufl” anymore. I have tried to find solutions on all friday and yesterday but didn’t find any….

    Hello

    I have checked your site and found that issue is caused that some plugins(top commetars, post_layout, wassup) is causing incompatibility and errors with current version of wordpress. Try to disable/update them. The scope of our support lays beyond maintaining these plugins. You may enter admin panel if you will rename wp-content/plugins to wp-content/plugins_.

    Hello Brian,
    I thank you for your answer,the same message remains unfortunately… So i am really lost in regards to the possible issues (i tried to contact OVH (which provides the platform) and Free (which allows the Wifi service; but they don’t find the problem)…
    I am going to try to replace a safeguard of Maroufl from last wednesday, hoping it will work again. If not, i hope you can help me, as i will not be able to keep on the construction of the site, which could be very bad for me!..

    I have done it (restore with a week ago version) and it is worth than before!
    There is just an “error” page when i click on “www.maroufl.com!!!
    PLEASE HELP!!!!

    OK, it works on my iphone but not on the two macs of my house…
    BUT : when i click on the image named “Le crapaud”, ti rides me on a page where e you can read “Posted on fervor…”+ ?attachment_id=508” instead of the product page which gives all the details component.

    It is the same for all the others images of “homepage”, they don’t drive on product pages…

    So, my tentative to upload a “a week ago version” didn’t work…

    Hello,

    The problem was caused by “better-wp-security” plugin.
    I’ve renamed its folder to “better-wp-security_old” in wp-content/plugins directory.
    Please clear browser cache and check your site.

    Thanks for your last answer. It still doesn’t work…
    On your computer, do you manage to click on “Le crapaud” or other paintings and do you land on the product page of the painting with all the explanations and other photos?

    Sorry not to answer as quick as you. I thank you very much for your intervention. The website works perfectly every where instead of my home place. But you have done a lot and resolved problems i had outside my place!
    Just one question, do you think that that the codes on .access ou php.admin may be involved in the problem i have in my apartment?

    I didn’t have the opportunity to try to enter in Maroufl admin since today and since your “reparation”, at an other place (as you know i still have the “Forbidden message” at my place”…
    The problem now is that i don’t have any access to the site if I tape “www.maroufl.com/admin” nothing happen….
    A big hand would be marvelous.

    You will be able to enter to the admin panel if you will rename wp-content/plugins to wp-content/plugins_. This will disable all plugins for a while and you will be able to enable them again manually. Then you should rename this folder to the content/plugins back. Also you may enable wp-dubug option to see the multiple error messages from plugins. You may try to disable/repair plugin files and check with your host other(php,.htacces, etc.) including security settings.
    Also try to use this link http://maroufl.com/wp-admin/ to access admin panel instead of http://maroufl.com/admin/
