    Hello,

You have to recreate footer as described in our documentation:
    https://www.8theme.com/demo/docs/royal/#!/9_footer

    Regards,
    Eva Kemp.

I’m confused, there is already demo content and a footer present with 4 columns. Where do go to edit that?

Instructions are very unclear. I managed to figure it out and four columns in my footer. However, now there are two large images in my footer that I cannot remove. Can you remove those for me?

    Hello,

Our demo footer is created in php file and if you edit it, the file will be overwritten after theme update.
We recommend you to create footer in Static Block section using Visual Composer editor and not the way you’ve created it.
Then add “8theme – Static Block” widget to “Footer 1” area in Appearance > Widgets.

    Regards,
    Eva Kemp.

I did as instructed and I am now receiving this message in the footer area: “Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 100663296 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 65552 bytes) in /home/gowestamerica/public_html/2kidspublishing.com/wp-includes/shortcodes.php on line 351

    Hello gcamacho@mywestamerica.com,

You need to contact your hosting provider and ask them to increase ‘memory_limit’ value.

    Regards,

I freed up some removing by removing plugins I was not using and managed to create the pre-footer as per instructions, however the dummy footer is still there, can you remove that?

I think I know what my issues is, I created a sidebar widget called Footer 1 not realizing there was already one created. So I have two footers showing up now, the demo and the static block. The dashboard is not allowing me to delete the new Footer 1 that I created. Can you assist me with that?

    Hello,

I’ve disabled demo footer in Theme Options > General > Show footer demo blocks > Off.
    Please check footer now.

    Regards,
    Eva Kemp.
