  In the widgets area, there are only 2 footer sections (Footer 1 and Footer 2). Whenever I put content in the Footer 1 or Footer 2 sections, they stack vertically rather than horizontally. This is strange because in the demo blocks, there are 4 footer sections.

  How do I add and modify the footer content so it can look like the demo blocks?

  Hello,

  You need create footer using Static Blocks as described in the documentation https://www.8theme.com/demo/docs/royal/#!/9_footer .
  To enable Visual Composer editor in Static Blocks go to wp-admin panel > Visual Composer > Role Manager > Post Types > Custom > tick “static blocks”.
