As the title says, fonts aren’t changing no matter what is chosen. For example, going through Typography to change “body” font for “page”, and nothing happens. Tried Google fonts…standard fonts…nothing. In fact, I’ve changed all the fonts on top bar, headings, etc. and still the same story.
Any ideas for me to try? Something overriding my choices? I’ve got the latest plugin BTW. Thanks!
Hello,
Please provide us with FTP and wp-admin panel credentials in Private Content.

At this point, I’d rather hear what the problem might be for me to fix on my own. If you need FTP credentials, then you obviously have something in mind that you’re going to do?
Let me know?
Hello,
We need to check theme settings, so please give us access to WP Dashboard.
Also FTP credentials are required to enable debug mode to check if there are any errors are shown.
Thank you.
Best regards,
Jack Richardson.
See enclosed in Private. Let me know.
Hello,
We have forwarded this issue to our developers. It will be fixed in the next theme update.
Meanwhile you can change font with css code, for example
body {
font-family: Montserrat !important;
}

Eva Kemp.
How often are your themes updated?
I guess I’ve been the only one to ever want to change theme font in the body? lol
I’m still kind of foggy on how to approach this. I see that your example explained how to change ALL of the font in the body, but what about changing in other areas? Such as in the Top bar (as mentioned previously). You have to excuse me…I’m not a guy that sleeps code.
Would I just copy and paste this into the child CSS editor? Thanks.
Hello,
The problem persists in Mozilla browser with Google fonts selected via Theme Options > Typography.
I’ve added the css code in Theme Options > Styling > Custom CSS > Global Custom CSS section to set Montserrat font:
body, h1, h2, h3, h4, h5, h6 {
font-family: Montserrat !important;
}
Please clear browser cache and check the site.

Eva Kemp.
I see. Appreciate the explanation. But as mentioned previously, I see that your example explained how to change ALL of the font in the body, but what about changing in other areas? Such as in the Top bar (as mentioned previously).
Forgot to mention, this changes all the fonts in the body. What if I mixmatch them? I don’t run with all one font in the body of some of my pages. For example, this little CSS change idea overrode my custom heading fonts.
Hello,
As I see fonts in top bar are set to the ones that you selected in Theme Options – Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif.
Please show on a screenshot for what headings you want to change fonts.
Thank you.

Eva Kemp.
Hello Eva. Yes, the top bar has the font I selected, but I put them back to “default” basically at the time you checked it…so it just appeared that it was working. I’ve been trying many fonts in all areas of the site…just experimenting.
The biggest example I can give at this point, is that I have all my Custom Headings done in VC all set to Montserrat. They are not changing at the front end. I do not want to merely modify the CSS as you had suggested as this changes ALL of the fonts on the site. I mixmatch fonts so that suggestion won’t work too well for me.
I understand there will be a new theme update within a week or so (according to Robert). Do you think this update will fix this little hiccup?
