Follow instead of share in top bar? - by bellaphile

    I know that it’s possible to add the social icons in the top bar for sharing, but is it possible to change them so that they link to our social media accounts instead? (i.e. Instead of the facebook logo linking to a share link, it links to our facebook page)

    You can edit code yourself in \themes\royal\framework\shortcodes.php file on line 1727 – 1769.

    Will that affect the share buttons on the bottom of the page or the product pages? I just want our follow links to be updated on the top bar, not the rest of the site

    Yes, will be. In this case you can try to use some 3rd party plugins to implement such functionality.

    Is it not possible to hard code this into the top bar instead of using a 3rd party app?
