    Hello,

    You’re using old theme version.
Please update the theme to the latest version.
Before update delete “woocommerce” folder in the directory wp-content/themes/royal/ and it’ll be reuploaded from a new theme package.

Don’t forget to create back up of your files and database before starting update process!

(it’s for Legenda theme but the process is the same).

    Regards,
    Eva Kemp.

    Hello,

Yes I know I’m using an old version. Here is the reason (and the problem). When I started to customize your theme, I didn’t know the child theme principle. I did many changes and customizations over the theme (without child theme). If I update the theme, I loose all my modifications (and I don’t remember all the modifications I did).

How can I fix that? What are your advices in this situation?

    Many thanks.

    Hello tlgv,

you may create a backup of your theme folder, set up Child Theme and move all customization made to Child Theme folder. After that please update your theme as described above.

    Regards,
    Stan Russell.

    Hello Stan,

Thank you for your advices, how can I find all my modifications? I don’t remember every modification I did… Do you have a system which can compare the original theme files and my customized theme files ?

    Thank you.

    Hello,

Sorry, but we also can’t know what modifications you made.
We always recommend to make all changes in child theme.
You have to try to remember what files you edited to move them to child theme.

    Regards,
    Eva Kemp.

    Hello,

Could you send me the theme in version 2.3 please? I need it to compare the 2.3 version and my version to identify modifications.

    Thank you.
