Few issues and questions about Xstore theme

    Hi,

    First of all, i really enjoy this theme. I have a few questions and some “bugs” that i cant seem to fix.

    1) I have alot of products, but some are out of stock. I have the option “Hide out of stock products” on.
    What happens now is that the products will indeed hide, but the quantity on the catalog page is different. For example: Standard page has to show 12 products, but it wont always show 12 products. I think this is due the theme seeing the hidden product. This is also an issue for the homepage blocks (to show products from the catalog on the homepage)

    2) The menu does not auto add items. I would like to show my categories here. I have to manually add them which is alot of work since the amount of categories i have. The optimal way i would like to see is that the dropdown menu can be the category menu (just like the mobile menu). I have over 12k products and alot of categories so ordering and adding this in the menu is alot of work. Is there any fix for this?

    3) Catalog images are weird, i’ve renegerated multiple times but the images all looks zoomed in. This can be due to my amount of products, can you look into it?

    4) I saw the post about the page speed update, do you recommend a certain plugin to make the pagespeed a little higher?

    5) Not the biggest problem, but I have the setting enabled to show 4 products in a row on the catalog pages, in the Xtheme Theme Options preview it shows 4 products in a row, but on the live shop it shows 3 products in a row.

    6) The Sales booster pop up shows products that are out of stock and hidden. Can we only show products that are in stock?

    7) Sort categories in the sidebar on the catalog page, how can i do that?

    8) Option to add custom Javascript, i have a widget i need to add javascript for.

    Hello,

    Thank you for using our theme!
    1) Could you, please, go to Appearance > Themes > install and activate WooCommerce default theme Storefront? (Do the backup of Theme Options and widgets before this!) Check if you have the mentioned issue when the storefront theme is activated. Let me know about the results.

    2) Nope, WooCommerce does not have option to auto-add categories https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/docs-menus/#section-6

    3) Add the below code to Theme Options > Custom CSS

    .content-product .product-content-image img {
        width: auto;
    }

    4) Yes, use cache plugin, W3 total cache or WP Roket or Fastest cache or any other that suits your needs, use Tiny png to optimize your images etc https://www.8theme.com/documentation/xstore/troubleshooting/how-to-speed-up-my-website/

    5) Provide us with temporary WP Dashboard access to check the settings and help you.

    6) Provide us with FTP access. We’ll check the issue in more detail.

    7) Go to Appearance > Widgets > shop page widget area > edit Product categories widget and choose the sorting order you need.

    8) Install and use Insert headers and Footers plugin to add custom JS code to header or footer of your site.

    1) I’ve tried this, but didnt fix the problem unfortunatly 🙁 Can you have a look?

    2) Is there a way to load in the same menu as mobile on this place? Without having the “hamburger?”

    Edit: also some translations dont work, can you please look into that aswell?

    Hello,

    1) So, do you have the same issue with the products and pagination when the Storefront theme is enabled? You need to check this by yourself. So, go to Appearance > Themes > enable Storefront theme and check. Switch to XStore child theme again after that.

    2) We don’t have such option by default.

    3), 4), 8) You are welcome.

    5) Theme Options > WooCommerce > Shop > Shop page layout > change the number of products on the categories page

    6) Check now.

    7) I don’t see the issue. Backend https://prnt.sc/127kjek , frontend – https://prnt.sc/127kkbh So, order looks the same.

    Some other questions, it seems that multiple things cant be translated with the theme in combination with woocommerce.

    For example:
    Checkout:
    1) Change adress
    2) Shipping to $

    Productpage
    1) Related products

    Cart
    1) Free shipping over $49

    Hello,

    To translate:
    1) Free shipping over $49 – go to Theme Options > Header builder > cart > edit mini cart promo message
    2) Change address – edit theme translation files
    3) Shipping to $ – edit theme translation files
    4) Related products – edit theme translation files

    We have partial translation of our theme and XStore core plugin, so I uploaded it to your site.
