Favicon, product tabs and images - by ejder077

Hi,

When I open a page of a product, the favicon of my website disappears. (Attachment: https://prntscr.com/krbli6)

I uploaded 7 images of the product, but there is just an image is shown on the products page and the image is huge, how can I decrease its size? (Attachment: https://prntscr.com/krbli6)

When I press the tabs, there is no reaction. That means I cannot view the info of the tabs. (Attachment:https://prntscr.com/krbmwg )

Hello,

1. Please read our documentation https://xstore.helpscoutdocs.com/article/64-how-to-add-custom-favicon
2. What theme version do you use?
Theme Options > E-commerce > Number of slides per view > 4
3. In the console on your site http://prntscr.com/krbq8t
It can be a reason for the problem with tabs so you need to solve this firstly.

Hi,

1. I had set the favicon already, if you check my homepage, you can see the favicon, but if you browse the product page, you cannot see the favicon.

2. I am using the most updated version. I also set the Number of slides per view to “4” but I can still only see one image.

3. I dont understand what is happening, how can I solve it?

Hi,

I think you changed my website a lot.

Here are some settings that you changed:

1. The quantity, add to card and size guide button. (Before:https://prntscr.com/ksqcjk; Now:https://prntscr.com/ksqcnz)

2. The my account button on the homepage (https://prntscr.com/ksqbz9)

3. The facebook like box (Before: https://prntscr.com/ksqc4b; Now:https://prntscr.com/ksqc9g)

Also, the favicon on the homepage and product page is still missing (https://prntscr.com/ksqcgd)

Can you fix them? Thank you.

We’ve updated the theme on your site to the latest version (5.0) and styling of some elements was changed in result of it.
1. Please check now.
2-3. Fixed.
4. Does it work with a default theme? Please check and let us know the result.
We are able to help you only with issues related strictly to our theme.

Hi,

I have checked in 4 computers many times. The favicon still does not appear.

The favicon only appears on the back end but not on the front end (https://prntscr.com/kwp3rb). The left tab is the back end, the right tab is the front end. Sometimes there is even a black deer appears as the favicon, but I have no idea where does it came from (https://prntscr.com/kwp57k).

Hello,

Favicon is the default option of WordPress. Could you, please, go to Appearance > Themes > enable the default WP theme and check if favicon appears when the default theme is activated or not?

Which theme do you mean (https://prntscr.com/kww520)? I am using Xstore Child Theme now. If I select other theme, will ny settings all gone away?

Hello,

You can temporary activate Twenty Seventeen theme.
Your settings won’t go away after switching theme to default one and back to xstore-child, only widgets configuration may be lost, so check the widgets and make sure that you know where every widget is placed (Appearance -> Widgets).

Are there any other way to fix this favicon issue? I do not want to take the risk and lose the widgets configuration.

It is wired because everything was fine until you did something, like the quantity, add to card button, the size guide button and the facebook like box. Actually, can you remember what have you done?

I will be very thankful if you can help.

Hello,

You won’t lose configuration of the widgets, widgets just could be in the different areas. But you’ll be able to move them into correct areas in few seconds if you open widgets tab before theme switching. Then after switching, you’ll be able to open widgets in the new tab and compare if everything is in place.

You need to check if everything works fine with the default theme to make sure that the problem is related to our theme. Provide screenshot of the favicon when the default theme is activated. You need to understand if problem caused by our theme or not to fix it.

Hi,

I have done what you say (go to Appearance > Themes > enable the default WP theme and check if favicon appears when the default theme is activated or not).

But there is still no favicon on the front end. There are 3 tabs in the screenshot, the left one is the back end, the middle one is the front end. Please see the attachment (https://prntscr.com/l01n5l)

Hello,

Please, read this article about uploading favicon https://codex.wordpress.org/Creating_a_Favicon
If you uploaded favicon and don’t see it even when the default theme is activated it means that theme is not the reason of the problem and theme support can do nothing because we can help only with issues related strictly to our theme.
Contact WordPress support then.
