Fatal error: Cannot Redeclare - by Isaac Tong

Hi there,

I have recently encountered an issue with my website. The following error has prompted out:

Fatal error: Cannot redeclare delete_term_meta() (previously declared in /home4/juicyret/public_html/wp-includes/taxonomy.php:1607) in /home4/juicyret/public_html/wp-content/themes/legenda/framework/inc/taxonomy-metadata.php on line 117

I cannot log into the website and have been actively looking for solutions. Your guidance is appreciated.

Hello,

As I see you are using very old theme version.
Please update the theme to the latest version. Before update delete “woocommerce” folder in the directory wp-content/themes/legenda/ and it’ll be reuploaded from a new theme package.
Also update all required plugins https://www.8theme.com/download-plugins/ .

Don’t forget to create back up of your files and database before starting update process!

My site has also broken after updating WordPress. I can’t log into the admin as I get a 500 server error.

I updated the theme via FTP to try and fix but the problem remains.

Please help urgently!

Hi Jackson,

How do I update my theme to the latest Legenda version? I can’t login to my WP dashboard altogether. And given that I have purchase the Legenda theme back then, am I entitled to a lifetime update as well?

There is an error:
Fatal error: Cannot redeclare url_shorten() (previously declared in /home/skindesi/public_html/wpcore/wp-includes/formatting.php:4796) in /home/skindesi/public_html/wpcore/wp-admin/includes/misc.php on line 261

It’s related to WordPress not to the theme.
