    Hi,

When I upgraded my WordPress to 4.4.1 I get this error message when trying to access WP-Admin

Fatal error: Call to undefined function wp_removable_query_args()
    /public_html/wp-admin/includes/misc.php on line 900

I see a lot of people are having this issue, and I have researched the issue and tried the following steps:

I tried to upgrade WordPress manually – Didn’t Work

I tried to deactivate all my Plugins, by changing the name to plugins.hold – Didn’t Work

    I replaced the misc.php file with a misc.php from older version 4.3.1 – WORKED!
It worked to enter my admin page, and then it wants me to update again..
If I update again, I get the same error, and I solve it by replacing the misc.php..
But that is a temporary solution.

I have also renamed the theme folder in the wp-content/themes.. To force the default theme to activate, but then the error still exists and I get a blank screen if I visit my website.

Do you have any ideas on this? Could it be theme related?

    Help please! ?

    Kind Regards,
    Emelie

    Hello,

This is WordPress issue, not the theme.
    Please refer to this topic:

or restore your files from backup.

    Best regards,
    Jack Richardson.
