I am using the FAQ toggle element, but some of the toggle content contains links to other pages – however, when you click on the links the FAQ toggle just closes so you can no longer see the content and you are not taken to another page. How can I disable the FAQ area from closing when someone clicks on the text? please see: http://worldofwine.info/5074-2-3/ and try to select the last FAQ about terms – then try to click on the link

Hello, what was the solution to this please?

I am having the same issue. I have inserted a contact form inside an FAQ toggle and would like the FAQ item to remain open until the visitor closes it manually.

Please let me know how I can modify this behaviour

    Hello @TeeDev,

I’ve set “Default state” as “Open” in FAQ element settings for contact form.
Now it’s opened by default. Please clear browser cache and check.

    Regards,
    Eva Kemp.

    Hi there

    Thanks for responding so quickly.

I have tested and the email us item is open by default but as soon as you click any of the elements inside it it closes.

    Any other ideas?

ps. The desire is that the area is closed by default but that once opened, it doesn’t auto-close when a user clicks inside.

Is there another way? There is no FTP server on this server, just SSH with key authentication.

    Hello,

Could you please give us SSH access then?

    Regards,

    Hi guys

sorry I had to go away. I have just updated to the latest version and hoped this issue would have been fixed but no luck. What wan we do?

Basically, the need is that the FAQ toggle should NOT close when somebody clicks inside it. I have a contact form inside the FAQ and also some links – I need visitors to be able to complete and send these forms and click the links.

    Any ideas?

    Hello @TeeDev,

Please comment out this code e.preventDefault(); in \themes\woopress\js\etheme.js file on line 1673

    Hi there

I didn’t see that you replied so apologies for the long delay.
I have tried this but it has not changed the behaviour.

In fact, I didn’t find e.preventDefault(); on line 1673, the one I edited was on line 1684 (under the TOGGLE ELEMENTS section, is that correct?)

    Please advise.

    Thanks again

    Hi Eva

Thanks for your reply. Unfortunately, the issue is not resolved.

If you check the page you’ll see that when you expand the Email Us item, it closes immediately once you click anywhere inside it. I need visitors to be able to complete that contact form.

Also, another thing that now happens is when you expand any FAQ item the page reverts to the top meaning the visitor has to scroll back down to the position they were at before to see the content they opened.

    Any ideas?

    Please, contact administrator

I will try and get some FTP details to you.

However, in the meantime can you let me know what you have changed since logging in to WP because the widget at the top left has been reset to showing the default currency credentials instead of the Free Delivery message.

    Many thanks

Ok, here is the FTP account to use.

Please let me know of all changes, and also preferably use the child theme so they’re not overwritten.
    Many thanks

Yes, I’m getting that error but only in Firefox. It seems to be a new problem.
Please try Chrome or Opera. Even Safari.

    Many thanks

    Hello,

I’ve changed the line 1676 in wp-content/themes/mammaw-main/js/etheme.js file.
    Before:
    var etoggleEl = etoggle.find('.toggle-element');

    After:
    var etoggleEl = etoggle.find('.toggle-title');

Please clear your browser cache and check “CONTACT US” page.

    Thank you.
    Best regards,
    Jack Richardson.

    That’s perfect, that has worked!
    THANK YOU!

So the question is, will I have to update this file after every theme update? Is there anyway to add this as an option in the Theme Options? I use this type of feature on a lot of themes and have never had this issue before.

What about the changes I made before (as advised by your colleagues), do those also need to be applied or just this one?

    Many thanks again!
