    Hi there. Could you please take a look at this page:

    http://www.chateauclinet.com/?page_id=3358&lang=fr

    and tell me why extra spacing is being added in between content rows when it is an exact copy of this page http://www.chateauclinet.com/meet-the-team/, just translated into French using a translation plugin?

    Thank you.

    Hello,

    I’ve added this code in CSS block of VC editor on the page:

    @media (min-width: 1200px) {
    .wpb_wrapper .wpb_content_element {
        margin-bottom: 5px;
    }}

    Please check it now.

    Best regards,
    Jack Richardson.

    Aw brilliant, thank you! One last thing, I seem to be having trouble creating a new menu when I’m in the french translation of the back end. It keeps refreshing to a 404 page when I click ‘create new’. Any idea?

    Hello,

    You’re using very old theme and plugins versions.
    Please update the theme to the latest version.
    Before update delete “woocommerce” folder in the directory wp-content/themes/legenda/ and it’ll be reuploaded from a new theme package.
    Also update all required plugins https://www.8theme.com/download-plugins/ .

    Don’t forget to create back up of your files and database before starting update process!

    Best regards,
    Jack Richardson.

    Hi,

    I have run a test update on a local version of the site. After updating the Plugins, WordPress and then the theme, this error message appears on the homepage:

    Fatal error: Call to undefined function et_translateColumnsCountToSpanClass() in C:\xampp\htdocs\clinet\wp-content\themes\legenda\framework\theme-functions.php on line 2133

    Additionally, the site is unable to access some pages through the menu…

    Thanks.

    UPDATE: When I disable the visual composer some of the content displays. When I reactivate it, the issue re-appears.

    Hello,

    We don’t get such error on our test site.
    Could you upload new version on a server so we are able to check this issue?
    Also check VC elements on your pages. Some of them may be deprecated and you have to recreate them using new elements from new VC version.

    Best regards,
    Jack Richardson.

    Hello,

    I’ve reuploaded VC folder via FTP and backend editor is working now.
    You have to recreate deprecated elements like Post Grid http://storage7.static.itmages.com/i/16/0510/h_1462877710_4239424_66ce8d208e.jpeg , remove them and add new Post Grid element.

    Best regards,
    Jack Richardson.

    Hi ,

    Thanks but even after doing that, there are stioll some bog display issues. The top bar is the wrong colour. The section called “Some facts and figures” is not displaying correctly. The blog posts displaying the on the homepage do not match the site format (i.e the buttons) and the bottom section called Clinet in the press looks different to how it should as well…

    It should look like the homepage from this: http://www.chateauclinet.com/

    Thanks,

    Kind Regards,
    Cyan

    Hello,

    Blog posts have different design because Posts Grid element was changed by VC authors.
    You have to re-create all VC deprecated elements with new plugin version.

    Best regards,
    Jack Richardson.

    Hello,

    As you can see in Theme Options > Header the 3rd header type uses different background color for top bar http://storage6.static.itmages.com/i/16/0510/h_1462896392_2404299_2a7d3a820d.jpeg in the new theme version.
    So you need add this code in custom.css file to change the color:

    .header-type-3 .top-bar {
        background-color: #d71920;
    }

    Background image for the section “SOME FACTS AND FIGURES” wasn’t copied. You have to re-add it in VC editor.
    Also as I see you’ve added border and background colors for Single blog post column http://storage7.static.itmages.com/i/16/0510/h_1462896693_3925344_e81c4cfbf4.jpeg that’s why it has such border.

    Best regards,
    Jack Richardson.

    Hi,

    Okay thanks, we never actually added that as it isn’t like that on the original site.

    Something I need to ask about is the ability to add a full width parallax background without being stretching the content to full width. I can’t seem to work this out. On the old version we had lots of these sections. There is also an issue with image size display on this page (http://176.32.230.51/clinettest.com/philosophy/) at the very bottom.

    Lastly there also seems to be an issue with the menu. Sub-items disappear before you can click on them and the menu seems to flicker a lot as well.

    Thanks.

    Hello,

    As for the menu add this code in custom.css file:

    .main-nav .menu > li .nav-sublist-dropdown {
      top: auto;
    }

    You added padding value http://storage9.static.itmages.com/i/16/0511/h_1462978895_3895395_c9a61f4a14.jpeg for that image block. Remove it.

    Row settings were changed in VC update and you have to choose “Stretch content” option to use full width background.

    Regards,
    Eva Kemp.
