    Hello,

    Question 1:
In the Shop Sidebar-WooCommerce Product Categories widget, the first item listed with sub-category is expanded by default. Is it possible to have all items shown collapsed and only expanded if selected?

Question 2: In the single product page, “tabs type” selected to “accordion”, is it possible to set all accordion menus to expanded?

    Thanks!

    Hello,

Unfortunately, there are no such options by default in our theme and more than 2 lines code are required to implement these options.

If you are interested in additional customization service you can send request here https://www.8theme.com/customization-services/

    Regards

    Hi there

This is the worst response in a support forum in a while. I have been searching the forums for the answer to this, as this is just a poor default setting.

There actually is a solution to this and I am rather offended that after having purchased this theme twice already, this is the reply you get … requires 2 or more lines of code is just false and you have been brushed off here.

Anyways, another support agent here actually tried to help a customer for another theme. I figured it out from there.

You need to edit the wp-conten/themes/xstore/js/etheme.min.js file though. Since this is practically impossible, best you can do is edit the etheme.js and then minify the file yourself.

You’re looking for this line in the code: https://prnt.sc/f3jhd1

just search for like “open-this” and you’ll be close to that line. After editing etheme.js, save it, download it, minify it and upload as etheme.min.js. but PLEASE backup these two files before doing anything.

    Hello, @ITTilt,

    Thank you for the explanation.
Additional customization questions are outside the scope of our support.
But in this case, https://www.8theme.com/topic/category-sub-category-wont-hide/ – topic can be useful.

    Regards
