    Hi,

I have created a new page and want to use one the essential grid templates. It is not showing with a drop down list of all the templates to choose from like Mckinley, Hoover etc..On frontend of the page yesterday it showed error code 80, But today its not there. There is currently nothing being displayed there.

The plugin in is activated. Do I need to register everything under brainstorm force section where it asks for envato username, API KEY, PURCHASE CODE? Is this the problem? As i have the purchase code, but I am unsure of where to find my API CODE. Where would I find API code?

    Many thanks for your help.

    Hello,

All plugins are external extensions which are included into theme because for each product we purchase “Extended license” and that’s why we are able to include it into them. The plugins work fine without activation and you can always get actual version if you want directly from us. Just ask and we’ll send a current version to you. You may update plugin manually from https://www.8theme.com/download-plugins/. The option with registering of the plugins has been already added to plugin and this only allows you to get automatic updates and support for this plugin directly from an author if you need. You don’t need to register the products because it is not required but if you want to get those features, then you need to purchase the plugins directly from the author. This is how it works for all themes on Themeforest and not only in our case.

Please let us know if the issue with error will persist.

    Thank you for understanding.

    With best regards

Hi John, Thanks for this. I have tried what you have suggested and it is still not working. I have deactivated the essential Grid plugin and manually uploaded the new one, which I got from the link that you gave me. The essential grid is not working on my “blog page 2” there is a blank space and it says alias, settings, layers, special which you can’t select on any of these.

Please could you take a look. My log in details are below.

    Please, contact administrator

    Hello,

Please update the theme to the latest 1.7.1 version and the plugins Essential Grid, Ultimate VC Addons, Visual Composer and MasterSlider. You can download them from this link https://www.8theme.com/download-plugins/ .

Don’t forget to create back up of the files and database before update.

    Thank you.
    Regards,
    Eva Kemp.

    Hi thanks for this.

So I download the new version of of the royal theme 1.7 from my themeforrest account. I then either go to WordPress “add theme” with deactivating the old one is that right? or upload through ftp by uploading only extracted royal folder to /wp-content/themes/ folder on your server with overwriting.

For the plugins Essential Grid, Ultimate VC Addons, Visual Composer and MasterSlider do I have to manually update these? Can I locate the plugins on wordpress and click update?
or do I have to do it a different way and download zip files of Essential Grid, Ultimate VC Addons, Visual Composer and MasterSlider on my account and 8theme account and manually upload these plugins to the wordpress site. If yes, do I need to deactivate the old plugins?

    Many thanks

    Hello @lornacrow,

Please see video tutorial how to update theme:
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KdWESIIPU1k
The video tutorial is for Legenda theme, but the process is identical.
Also the same process is for updating plugins (wp-content/plugins).

    Regards,
    Robert Hall.

    Hello

Ftp method is the straightest way to update plugins. You may delete and upload new plugin version instead of old within wp-content/plugins folder. You may also update them via worpress or install them via wordpress from https://www.8theme.com/download-plugins/. All mentioned methods should work fine.

    Hello,

Notifications should be displayed in wp-admin panel > Plugins under each plugin that requires update.

    Regards,
    Eva Kemp.
