Error while adding simple product to cart

Hi
In my ecommerce I have two kinds of product:
- simple product
- variable product
When i try to add a simple product ( example: T-SHIRT ) to cart, i got some errors on jquery.js : page doesnt reload, the number on the cart icon isnt updated, but if i go to the cart page the products are added

If i add a variable product ( example: T-SHIRT size XL ) it works fine
I use child theme of XStore 4.28.1

Thanks for contacting us.
Do you have this problem with our theme only or with the default theme (Storefront) too?
Have you tried to disable all 3rd party plugins?
We are theme support and we are able to help you only with issues related strictly to our theme.

I have updated WPBakery page builder and Revolution slider plugins to latest version and don’t see the problem. Check the site now and let me know.

Your problem is not related to our theme because appears even with the default WooCommerce theme Storefront https://gyazo.com/c0d2847fe3fac62fc2a2241fd0a23653

Contact WooCommerce plugin support to solve the problem. We are able to help only in case the problem is related strictly to our theme.

Hi
I’ve found out that the issue is caused by WPBakery Page Builder plugin.

Now,what should I do in order to fix this ? WPBakery Visual Composer is included in the Xstore theme purchase.

From the upgrading page plugin, I’m not able to update this plugin – i can’t see changelog of version 5.5.5 either – i’m using 5.5.4

Please help. thank you

Hello,

Problem is caused by your code in footer http://prntscr.com/l93gk8
Once I removed the code everything works fine. I suppose it’s because of JS code that you used there. Contact code author and clarify where that code should be added because text widget is not the right place to use JS code.
