    Hi there,

    I wanted to update my theme from legenda 2.11 to 3.0.1 but get a blank page with error 500. Never had this before.

    These are the plugins I have installed:

    – Akismet
    – All 404 Redirect to Homepage
    – amr shortcode any widget
    – Column Shortcodes
    – Contact Form 7
    – EWWW Image Optimizer
    – Get Widget ID
    – Google Analytics
    – MailChimp Sign Up
    – MailChimp voor WordPress
    – Mollie Payments for WooCommerce
    – oik Weight/Country Shipping
    – Really Simple SSL
    – Screets Live Chat
    – Shipping Details for WooCommerce
    – Slider Revolution
    – Under Construction (deactivated)
    – WooCommerce
    – WooCommerce (nl)
    – WooCommerce PDF Invoice
    – WooCommerce Pretty Emails
    – WP Rocket
    – WPBakery Visual Composer
    – YITH WooCommerce Wishlist
    – Yoast SEO

    It doesn’t matter if I deactivate all the plugins before update theme. Still get a white page.

    I really want to get help with the update. But one important thing you have to know.. I use a child theme and the name of the Legenda theme I have changed into the name of the brand. So, keep in mind that when you update the template you also change the name of my theme and child theme..

    Thanks

    Hello,

    Are you getting 500 error when trying to download theme archive on ThemeForest site or the error persists on your own site after theme update?

    Best regards,
    Jack Richardson.

    Hi Jack,

    The error persists on my own site after theme update.

    Hello,

    As I see your site is working:
    http://storage7.static.itmages.com/i/16/0601/h_1464780118_2340051_7d02ed3f44.jpeg

    Please clarify how we can replicate the issue.

    Also 500 error is related to server configuration. Perhaps there is a lack of some resources. Try to increase memory_limit value on a server. Ask your hosting provider support to do this.

    Regards,
    Eva Kemp.

    Hi Eva,

    Now my site is working because replaced version 2.11 again.

    But updating from 2.11 to 3.0.1 gives me a blank page.

    You can try if you want. But I use a childtheme and changed the name of the theme.

    See picture in private content.

    Kind regards,
    Chander

    Hi Eva,

    What is the minimun setting for the memory_limit value?
    The setting now is 256MB.

    I need to know because my provider will ask.

    Thank you.

    Hi,

    Two more questions.

    The PHP memory_limit on my server is 128M and that one I cannot change.

    My WP_memory_limit is now set on 256M.

    The last one could be possible for me to increase.

    1) Wich memory_limit do you mean?

    Please check my PHP info in private content. The 128M is the max my webhost can give.

    2) Why my previous 5 updates did not give problems

    Thanks

    Hello,

    We just suppose that there is lack of memory_limit value, but you can ask your hosting provider support to check error logs what exactly caused 500 error.
    May we update the theme for you?
    Please provide FTP credentials.

    Best regards,
    Jack Richardson.

    Hi Jack,

    You may update for me BUT please take a look at my theme name. Do not forget to change the legenda into my own name. See private content. Also in the style.css the name has to be changed.

    Is that a problem??

    I also have my phonenumber in private content when needed.

    Thanks

    Hi see my credentials in private content.

    But you did’t answer my question if it is a problem for you that I working with a child theme and other name of the theme like I have showed in the private content before.

    Please be carefull. I have just make a backup.

    I am afraid my website won’t look like it is now after the update and loose a lot of customization.

    Thanks

    Hello,

    The problem isn’t related to different names of the theme.
    Please create a back up of the site and database and we’ll proceed with the update.

    Best regards,
    Jack Richardson.

    Hi Jack,

    I have just made a backup so you can proceed.

    I know that the problem is not due to the different names of the theme. I mean there with saying that you first change this please before you update. Inside the style.css you also have to change the name Legenda into my name.

    Thanks

    Kind regards,
    Chander

    Hello,

    Please add this code in child style.css file:

    @media (max-width: 480px) {
    .header .shopping-cart-widget {
       width: 130px !important;
       left: 85%;
    }
    .shopping-cart-widget .cart-summ > a {
        color: transparent;
    }}

    Best regards,
    Jack Richardson.
