    Hi there,
I just purchased the theme WooPress. I’m not a WordPress newbie, I’ve made several sites by the past.

I uploaded the theme (first by FTP and then I tried with the Upload function in WP) and when I try to activate it I get an error: HTTP ERROR 500

I checked the Error log from my host and it says many times something regarding this file:
[17-Jul-2016 02:32:09] PHP Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_FUNCTION in /home1/justipl2/public_html/follesdici/wp-content/themes/woopress/framework/theme-functions.php on line 2960
    [17-Jul-2016 02:36:52 UTC] mojo_plugin_activated

I deactivated Mojo plugin just in case. Nothing changes, I still get the error message.
    What’s the problem with woopress/framework/theme-functions.php ??

    Should I do something?

I really need to word on the website soon, my client is waiting and need his new website ASAP.

    Thanks for you reply 🙂

    Justine

I searched for a second time on your forum and find some answers.
It was a PHP version error.

Maybe you should write a topic about that in the documentation; many people seems to have this issue!

    Thanks! 🙂

    Hello,

Theme requirements are mentioned in the documentation https://www.8theme.com/demo/docs/woopress/#!/general_information

    Best regards,
    Jack Richardson.
