Entire webshop load time is extremly slow

Hi,

my site https://berglon.fo/ is loading very slowly. Especially when my costumers do a simple search for my products (e.g. https://berglon.fo/product-category/800/80020/80020030/) the site loads very slowly. I have tried to update all of my plug-ins and theme but nothing seems to work. Furthermore I have also tried to use the Speed Otimize function on your theme.

You have more than 12 000 products – https://prnt.sc/et9Pyo59Hny7 , it is the main reason for the speed problem. Any selection from the database with this quantity will take quite a lot of time, that’s why the search, shop and product category pages have such a low speed, and this affects all pages displaying products.
WordPress/WooCommerce does not have limits on the number of products, but you need to take into account the server power. Most likely your server simply cannot quickly process requests with such a number of products.
