    Hi.

We have almost finished design for our website with XStore theme. Upon reviewing the pages before pushing the design to our live website we noticed that the checkout page showing empty page.

We tried many options. When checked the content of this page on Elementor builder we noticed that there is element to add for checkout page, but it’s Pro. After upgrading to Elementor Pro the checkout page appears but other parts of the site has been changed (header, footer, etc.).

When we disable the Pro all gets back to normal, except checkout page, nothing in it. (cart has products in it)

Seems like XStore doesn’t work with Elementor Pro.

We need to solve 2 issues. Make sure checkout page is working properly, and making sure Elementor Pro is compatible.

    Thanks.

    Hello, Hempednyc,

Thank you for contacting us and for using XStore.

Please provide URL of product that can be added to cart, temporary wp-admin and FTP access.

To provide wp-admin access, you can create a new user account with administrator role via the Dashboard, and provide us with the username and password via the Private Content area.
To create FTP access (FTP host, FTP username, FTP password, FTP port, FTP encryption) , please contact your hosting provider for assistance.

    Kind Regards,

    Hello Rose.

Please see our private message for more info. You can add to cart any product you like to test and see the checkout page issue.

Make sure to activate and deactivate the Elementor Pro plugin to see the differences.

    Thanks,
    Joe.

    Hello, Hempednyc,

We added a shortcode on the checkout page – https://prnt.sc/gSEzMbc__ktZ https://woocommerce.com/document/woocommerce-pages/
    Please check now.

Thanks, but I could do this as well. Our main issue is with Elementor Pro that we are using. Your theme isn’t compatible with it from some reason. Whenever we activate it the header, footer, and other templates (blocks) are been replaced with another.

Please double check that and let me know a fix for it. We must use Elementor Pro and its features.

    Thanks again.

    Hello, Hempednyc,

    We appreciate your prompt response.

1/ The Checkout page was blank because no content was added, you removed the content (by default it contains a shortcode) and contacted us, so we solved it for you – https://woocommerce.com/document/woocommerce-pages/

2/ XStore is fully compatible with Elementor Pro, which is the reason why your header and footer are changed, you created them using the Elementor Pro plugin and once you activate the plugin they are appayed.
“Please double check that and let me know a fix for it. ” – we have checked, and this is the expected work of Elementor Pro. What assistance do you want from our side? Do you want to delete the header and Footer that you created using the Elementor Pro plugin but can’t find where to do this? in this case, contact support of the Elementor Pro plugin.
You can activate any other theme and check, the header and Footer will be taken from the Elementor Pro in case that theme is compatible with Elementor Pro. In your case, it is not theme related question, but a question to Elementor Pro.

We hope this information is helpful.

    Kind Regards,

Thank you for your time and effort. I have to respond for others to know what to do if they face the same issues.

On 2019 we have used a theme that worked with Elementor Pro and we built some templates and we used Theme Builder (located under Templates on the left admin dashboard menu). When you blamed us for creating header and footer I was scratching my head “what is he talking about???”. Then I remembered that we might created them long time ago.

Anyway, we activated the Elementor Pro plugin, opened Templates > Theme Builder and deleted all the parts from 2019 (in our case).

    All is working perfectly now!

    Thanks.
