Endless loading loop Siteground, specific circumstance

Hi there, Siteground support detected an issue in a very specific circumstance: high traffic, Siteground “under attack” with their CDN active for our site. I’m posting their response in the private content area.

Can you give us some setup tips or can this be fixed not to happen in the future?

We regret to learn that you have encountered an issue with your website, which your hosting provider has attributed to our theme’s core plugin. Upon reviewing your site, we have determined that the theme and core plugin currently in use are outdated. As a preliminary step, we respectfully recommend updating both to the latest versions.
