Email marketing from within xstore theme

Hi,
I would like to include a popup window that invites website traffic to subscribe to an email list with VIP treatment for subscribers. Is there an option to do this from within xstore or do you suggest to use external systems like mailchimp or mailer lite or similar?
If there is the possibility to do it from Xstore, is there a tutorial?
