Elementor & X Store Core Builder not working

Hey there !

I’m encountering an issue on my website : the builder to personalize appearance (x store core OR elementor) are not saving any changes and when they does it seems very instable (as it can come back to a previous design any time !).

This is very frustrating as our website will soon be live with hundreds of visitors that will visit it every day and the user e-commerce experience is uncontrollable !

Hello, @CamG,

When you use the Elementor editor then Elementor plugin displays inline styles. Once you save the post and check the frontend Elementor uses the CSS file https://prnt.sc/125hx1n which includes all your styles. That’s why if you don’t clear browser cache + WPRoket cache + CDN cache you’ll see the out-of-date cached version of the CSS file that does not include your changes. That’s why you need to clear all these caches after your changes. And it’s not related to the theme but to how the Elementor plugin works.

You can change the CSS Print Method of the Elementor settings https://prnt.sc/125hzrh and don’t save styles to file but use inline styles but it will slow down the site. So, choose what is better for you.

OR

Keep Remove Query Strings From Theme Static Resources option (Theme Options > Speed optimization) enabled if you use cache plugin https://prnt.sc/YTB_ic8rIAXV

Nevertheless, even after clearing all caches I’m still encountering issues with the XStore Builder that do not saves any changes.

Alright, please share your site wp-admin URL and access and the Cpanel Login details in the private content area of this topic by following the below-given format:

Hello, @CamG,

Actually, the issue is in the child theme because when I activate the parent theme the changes are working as you can see in this video: https://streamable.com/qemzl1 I have set the account icon in the header and set the size of it for desktop and mobile different, and then switching the layout from the desktop and mobile the changes don’t revert it stays as I set them. Please check back to your issue by activating the parent theme you will never face this issue again.

And if you added any Custom Code in Child Theme then please check that code again with your developer OR delete the Child Theme and Create the new one.
