Hi,
I have two issues I need solving. The first one is to do with the blog page. Along with the theme I am using elementor pro and using the theme builder option.I have created a single post template in the theme builder and set the conditions to include all posts. When I go to my blog post however it doesn’t show the layout I have created in the theme builder. I can edit the layout that is shown using the customise option of the theme builder. What can I do to make the single post templates from elementor show in the blog?
Secondly I am trying to filter my WooCommerce products. I am doing this using JetSmartFilters. However, it is incompatible with the XStore Core Plugin so it’s only when I turn this off that I am able to set the filters. Do I actually need this plugin for the theme to work?
Hello,
1) Provide us with FTP access to your site to check the issue in more detail and help you.
2) Enable the default WooCommerce theme (Storefront for example) and check if the mentioned filter works fine with the default theme. If it does not work with the default theme then contact plugin author to make it work with the default theme and then contact us if you still have the issue with XStore but with the default theme everything works fine.

Hi,
Here are my FTP access details. If I use a default theme both of my issues are solved.
Kind regards,
Rebecca
I am still waiting for a reply
Hello,
1) Ok. Our developers working on this.
2) We have enabled the Storefront theme and don’t see that filter works https://gyazo.com/38ce20134303503d11255c7e9e3d9d5b So, contact plugin author about this to make it work with the default theme at start.

Hi,
I’m sorry but if I use other themes the filter does work. As both of my issues would be solved using another theme are you able to issue a refund?
Regards,
Rebecca
Hello,
1) Fixed.
2) Provide us with short video of how the filter works on this site when you enabled the default WooCommerce theme Storefront. You can use the Gyzo gif tool to make a short gif.

Hi,
Is there an update as to where you are with fixing my issue?
Kind regards
Rebecca
Hello,
Take my apologies for the delay in answering.
I’m afraid that you need to contact plugin author and ask them to make some improvements to the plugin code.
We both (XStore and JetSmartFilters plugin) are extending select2 field from Elementor, select2.js makes you enable to change your dropdown field to multi dropdown and searching dropdown, so when we both extending default Elementor select2 field, in JetSmartFilters js files they are not destroying their field on js events and making problem for others, they need to re-change their js for that custom field which they created to avoid conflict with others.

Hello,
Thank you for getting back to me. I’m sorry but I don’t understand. Why is it the plugins issue when the plugin works with loads of other themes with no issues at all? It must be an issue with the XStore theme not the plugin from what I can see as if it was the plugins issue it would not work with all these other themes. Please explain to me why it is not an issue on your side.
Kind regards
Rebecca
Hello,
Because other themes do not have additional elements for the Elementor and do not use select2 field. We use and that plugin uses but in the wrong way, that causes the mentioned error with our theme. Contact them and explain the problem. Send them our previous answer for better understanding.

Hello,
Okay I have contacted them with what you’ve said. The blog issue which you said had been fixed only seems to work on on of the posts which has been created. The one called ‘test’ shows nothing when you click on it. Why is this?
Regards
Rebecca
Hi,
I have been in contact with the plugin authors and they have told me to tell you “Please be advised if the theme connects scripts for Elementor Editor and uses elementor-frontend in dependences or any other elementor’s script, then this should be done for ‘elementor/editor/after_enqueue_scripts’ hook instead of ‘elementor/editor/before_enqueue_scripts'”. I really hope this can help solve the issue.
I appreciate that you have been busy on other things and have tried to sort out my issues however, it has been over two weeks since there has been this issue and I really need both of my issues solved ASAP.
Regards
Rebecca
