    Hello,

    What page editor do you use? Is Massive Addons for WPBakery Page Builder plugin enabled? Try to disable this plugin and check pages then. Let us know the result.
    Also, check the server error logs and provide a list of errors that you have there.

    Regards

    Hi, I’m very new to all this I only use whatever comes as standard with the xstore download. I believe I was working through WP with Bakery Page Builder. The Mass Addons plugin was activated as part of the theme/demo installation so I deactivated it and am no longer getting the error message. But does this mean I can no longer use that plug in? Thank you.

    I have checked the error log and it suggests a memory issue?

    Hi,

    It is a known issue of the Massive Addons plugin that caused by server limits https://codecanyon.net/item/massive-addons-for-visual-composer/14429839/comments?page=36&filter=all#comment_14143143 https://codecanyon.net/item/massive-addons-for-visual-composer/14429839/comments?filter=all&page=79#comment_18501820 You need to contact the hosting provider and ask to increase the maximum body length value, then you will be able to edit pages.

    Regards

    Hi, thank you for your response and my apologies for the delay in getting back to you, I have been trying changes suggested by the link you provided and by the hosting company and I am still getting the same error when Massive Add Ons plug in is activated. I will send over what has been changed and tried for your review.

    Many thanks

    Hi,

    We are talking about maximum body length value. Try to add those rules to your .htaccess file:

    <IfModule mod_substitute.c>
    SubstituteMaxLineLength 10M
    </IfModule>

    Hi,

    Yes that has been added as per your previous communication, photo included.

    The error logs are recording the following when the error is returned when trying to edit with WP Bakery while Massive Addons plug in is activated. So memory was increased to 256 which should be plenty and this did not solve the problem

    05-Aug-2020 10:11:37 UTC] PHP Fatal error: Out of memory (allocated 77377536) (tried to allocate 10260480 bytes) in /data02/c6485446/littlebirdfabrics.co.uk/wp-includes/functions.php on line 4609

    So I am now out of idea’s. It does seem to be connected to the Massive Addons plug-in however the solution from the owners have not fixed the issue.

    In the short term can you please tell me what features of the xstore theme needs Massive Addons plugin?

    Thank you

    Hi,

    To be sure that the memory limit was increased, check what value is shown in WooCommerce > Status, for example – https://prnt.sc/tuk2jf
    Massive Addons plugin is not obligatory, it is used to create some specific content blocks. Try to disable the plugin and check the frontend, if there is no code shown and all blocks are on places, you can keep the plugin disabled. If some blocks are shown as shortcodes, you can delete them via backend.

    Hi, I have checked in Woocommerce > status and the memory status 384MB (see photo) which is more than I expected actually, but more than the error message is saying it needs, which, I’ll be honest, confuses me!

    I haven’t seen anything that doesn’t seem to be working on the front end, but it is a shame that it wouldn’t be useable.

    Hello,

    Please check if the error persists when a default theme is activated on your site. As a rule, such things come from the server-side, and fully independent of the theme, I suppose your hosting provider will be able to help.
    Once the memory problem will be solved, provide us with temporary wp-admin and FTP access, we will check if something can be done from our side also.

    Regards

    Yes, only widgets could be messed up and you may need to move them to necessary areas after switching back to XStore (open Appearance > Widgets in a new browser tab before changing the theme do not reload this tab, and you will be able to compare widgets before and after).
    Go to Appearance > Themes > install and activate default WooCommerce theme – Storefront and check if you have the same memory issue when the default theme is enabled. After confirming that it is independent of the theme, contact your hosting provider as was mentioned.
