Editing Footer using static blocks will not let me edit the text box

I am trying to edit a text box in the footer from static blocks but when I click on edit, i am not able to find the content that i need to edit. I have done this few times in the past and it was always easy to do, something seems to be wrong.

Same happen on me at the moment. Couldn’t edit any elements in the page. Are you using WPBakery page builder as well? or Elementor?

I am using WPBakery page builder, actually i am not able to edit any of my content using WPBakery.

FYI, I deactivated Massive Addons for WPBakery Page Builder, WPbakery working now.

Oh I see, thank you for letting me know, do you know what is the Massive adding for WPBakery is for? what does it do? Will it affect anything if i deactivate it?

That plugin gives you more options of the elements. Deactivate it first, then go to your website to check if there was any crash. If so that means you were using some elements from this plugin.
I will deactivate it while I am building the website. When finish, reactivate it so the crash will work properly again.

Hello,

Did you update WP to version 5.5? If you use Massive Addons plugin it has compatibility issues with the new WP update. Either downgrade the WP to the previous version or wait for the Massive addons plugin update, when they release fix for this https://codecanyon.net/item/massive-addons-for-visual-composer/14429839/comments?page=109&filter=all#comment_24928281
