Editing and customizing the WooCommerce sections/login pages

Hi 8theme team,

1) In regards to the login pages found on X-Store, can we edit the way they appear and add other things on those pages?

– For example, on the login page/sign up page, how can we add a testimonials blocks section on that page to show previous customer satisfaction for example.

– Also, can we edit the background color for the login pages? They seem to be white by default.

2) For login with a social network, can we have more options other than facebook and google?

3) Once the customer logs into the account, can we edit that panel/section where they see their specific details and other information specific to their accounts?

4) For the lost password email template which gets sent to a customer once they click that specific button, can this be edited on our X-Store backend section?
Or any other email that is related to the WooCommerce side of things.

Thanks for your help, we will be buying another license shortly!

1) Absolutely! You have the flexibility to customize your ‘My Account’ page using Elementor. Just follow these simple steps:

a)Go to your WordPress Dashboard.
b)Navigate to ‘Pages’ and locate the ‘My Account’ page.
c)Edit the page with Elementor.
d)Add the XStore Testimonial element to the page.
e)Customize the settings to meet your preferences.
f)For changing the background color of the Elementor page:

a)In the Elementor page settings, go to the ‘Style’ section.
b)Locate the ‘Background Color’ option.
c)Adjust the color to your liking.

2) We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused. Currently, the XStore theme only supports social media authentication for Facebook and Google. Unfortunately, we do not have built-in support for other social media platforms.

To integrate authentication for other social media, we recommend using a third-party plugin specifically designed for the social media platform you’re interested in.

3) We appreciate your inquiry regarding the ability to edit the panel/section where customers view their specific details and other account information in the XStore theme. From the XStore >>Theme settings >>Header Builder>>My account>>where you can customize the settings related to my account page.

We regret to inform you that there is currently no built-in theme option within the XStore theme for customizing this specific panel/section. However, we recommend reaching out to the WooCommerce support team, as they can provide more detailed guidance on how to achieve the customization you are looking for.

Hi Tony,

Thanks for your replies & hope you are doing well today!

1) Cool! Thanks for the steps. So basically we can customize it totally using Elementor.

– Is there anyway to change the full background color of the login page? The page is white, wondering if that can be changed.

2) Thanks for confirming, we will see if we can find 3rd party plugins for this.

– One more question in regards to this, if someone signs up using their email – then it gets stored to the WooCommerce backend. Just wondering if someone signs up via google, does the information get saved to WooCommerce/WordPress as well?

4) Great! so basically we can edit all the emails that are sent via WooCommerce using X-Store?

We were previously using another plugin but it seems like we can just do it using X-Store now.

1)Regarding changing the full background color of the login page, the settings we provided earlier can help you achieve that. Please refer to our previous instructions to update the background color.

Now, if you wish to modify the color of the footer on the login page, it’s essential to note that the footer is distinct from the login page. To edit the default XStore footer, navigate to the WordPress dashboard, then go to Static Block >> Footer. There, you can edit the static block using Elementor to make changes.

If you want to create a custom footer specifically for the login page, we recommend referring to the XStore Footer Builder with Elementor documentation. 2) If someone signs up via Google, the registration process may vary.

By default, when users sign up using social login options like Google, the user data is often managed by the authentication provider (in this case, Google) rather than being directly stored in the WooCommerce/WordPress backend. The user information may be retrieved and linked to their account on your website.

3) Regarding your query, we regret to inform you that, at present, there is no theme functionality to edit the Email Templates using Elementor. XStore provides a separate Email Builder for customizing email templates.

To edit the Email Templates, we recommend following the steps provided in our previous messages and referring to the documentation for the Email Builder. You can find detailed instructions and guidance on customizing email templates using the dedicated XStore Email Builder.

In regards to the background color for the login page;

& Thanks for the details on the footer as well. We have not seen this on other themes which makes X-Store much better.

3) Oh okay, understood. If you can implement that on X-Store it would be great (having the options of editing the emails via elementor)

Hi Tony,

1) Thanks the footer is the best feature we believe on X-Store since we can make it as large/custom as we need it to be.

– In regards to the login page BACKGROUND color (which is white)
If we want to change it, should we go to – PAGE SETTINGS & then color?

3) Yes, please – that would be very useful as the current email builder does not have an elementor feature, so it makes it sort of limited etc.
