Hi – I have just uploaded my website to the server and testing on an iOS device for the first time. I’m noticing that its often necessary to double tap the links for them to work (e.g. logo and mobile menu). Please can you advise.

    Many thanks

    Hello davidturnbull72,

we have tested your site on different mobile devices and did not see that problem. Have you already fixed it?

    Hi,
Thanks for your reply. I have not made any changes and the problem still exists for me. I have tested on both an iPhone 6 and iPad Air.

A repeatable scenario that demonstrates it is as follows:

After the site has first loaded – click the Logo – nothing happens.
Click the logo a second time – the home page reloads correctly.
Click the mobile menu expand icon – nothing happens
Click the mobile menu expand icon a second time – mobile menu opens.

    Thanks
    David

    Hello,

Please update the theme to the latest version 2.8 and Woocommerce as well.
Before update delete “woocommerce” folder in the directory wp-content/themes/woopress/ and it’ll be reuploaded from a new theme package.
Also update all required plugins https://www.8theme.com/download-plugins/ .

Don’t forget to create back up of your files and database before starting update process!

(it’s for Legenda theme but the process is the same).

    Regards,
    Eva Kemp.

    Hello Eva,

I have updated the theme and the relevant plugins and the problem persists.

Disabling all plugins removes the problem. Going through one-by-one and re-activating them is showing that activating the revolution slider is causing the problem.

As part of the update process, I updated to version 5.2.1 from your website, however the web admin is showing that an update is available for revolution slider … ?

    Regards
    David

    Hello,

As I see you’re running old WordPress version. Please update it to 4.4.2. Create backup of the site before updating.
Also check if the same issue persists with other theme (Twenty Fifteen, for example).

    Best regards,
    Jack Richardson.

    Hello Eva,

Yes, the problem appears to have been resolved – thank you !

Please can you tell me the changes have been made so that I can reflect them in my local development environment – otherwise when I upload new content the fix that has been made will be lost.

    Thanks for your help.

    Hello,

We edited the files еtheme.js and responsive.css. The solutions will be also included in the theme update so you won’t loose the changes.

    Regards,
    Eva Kemp.
