Hello staff,

suddenly I no longer see image in the product page

The image is displayed only if I step on it with mouse.

Please try to disable 3-d party plugins and check the issue. It seems that one of them is causing the issue.

Yes, you can update WordPress and Woocommerce.
But don’t forget to create backup of your files and database before starting update process.

Yes

Before update please delete “woocommerce” folder in the directory wp-content/themes/woopress/ to overwrite default files.

Don’t forget to create back up of your files and database before starting update process!
