Dokan Plugin – New Product Create: Fatal error: Uncaught Error

    For the last few days, with xstore theme, an error is being shown when I try to create new product in the vendor dashboard in dokan plugin.

    Please check, it is working fine on other themes and there is no problem, when xstore theme is activated this problem appears in new product creation, plrease fix it,

    Could you please provide temporary wp-admin and FTP access? We will check what can be done to help you.
    To grant WP-Admin access, please proceed to create a new user account with an administrator role through your WordPress Dashboard. Once the account is established, you may securely transmit the username and password to us via the Private Content section designated for this purpose.

    For FTP access, we require the following details: FTP host, FTP username, FTP password, FTP port, and FTP encryption type. If you need assistance in creating these credentials, please reach out to your hosting provider who will guide you through the process.

    Hello,

    1. Kindly review the first issue related to the fatal errors occurring during product creation actions. We uploaded a fix on your server.

    2. We would appreciate it if you could provide us with a video demonstrating the issue, as it will help us better understand the problem.

    3. Additionally, please try selecting the “Full” image size for the product widgets on your homepage and verify whether your .gif images are displayed correctly. This issue may be caused by WooCommerce automatically cropping images to its default sizes, which can result in .gif files being converted to standard JPEG format. You can adjust this setting by editing the Products Grid widget and navigating to: Product → Image Size → Select “Full”.

    We also attempted to log in to your dashboard using the credentials you provided. However, we were unable to access the account, and the system indicated that only a few login attempts remain, despite the username and password being entered correctly.

    Please Tell me which dashboard you wanted to login to and you are unable to login.

    1. right now an single error is being displayed in the dokan plugin, screenshot of which has been sent.

    2nd problen: When logged in admin panel, lightbox images of the product are opening but if a visitor clicks on the product image, then the direct host URL opens and the video has been sent, please check it

    I opened different products and saw the same problem on all of them

    And the same problem is showing on your original demo website as well

    Upon investigation, we have identified that the root cause of the issue originates from a bug in the Dokan plugin’s code. Specifically, the plugin attempts to use the get_type() function, which is only available in versions 2.9.14 and above. To resolve this, the Dokan development team should implement the following conditional code: https://prnt.sc/sxxj_kPF6tOk.

    As you are a customer of the Dokan PRO version plugin, we recommend reaching out to their support team directly with this request. As a licensed user, you are entitled to priority support, and they should be able to assist you further.

    In the meantime, we suggest the following temporary measures to prevent further errors on your website:

    – Disable debug mode on your website. If needed, your hosting provider can assist you with this.
    – Deactivate the built-in XStore Brands feature via Theme Options → WooCommerce → Shop Elements → Brands.
    – Instead, we recommend using the default WooCommerce brands functionality until the issue is resolved.

    To ensure uninterrupted work on your product creation, we have temporarily disabled the display of fatal errors in the files. However, we strongly advise contacting Dokan support and keeping the built-in brands functionality disabled until they release a global fix.

    If the problem occurs only when using our theme and not with a default theme, we would appreciate it if you could provide us with detailed steps to reproduce the issue on our end.     When I log in to another vendor account, it only shows loading and no other options are visible. I have sent you the login details of the vendor account below, please check that.

    Our *Dokan plugin works fine on other themes*, the problem is only occurring on the xstore theme. screenshot also attached.

    I think the Xstore theme needs a new update and there are many more bugs.

    Problem 2: As when you sign up for vendor from the menu, it does not scroll and hence the account is not created.

    Could you kindly provide us with a video demonstrating the issue with current customer while using the default theme such as Storefront? This will help us better understand the situation, as the JavaScript requests in question appear to be related to Dokan’s functionality rather than our theme.

    Additionally, if you have made any modifications to your child theme, please note that such changes could potentially contribute to the issue.

    If the problem occurs only for certain customers and not for others, we recommend reviewing the differences between these user accounts. For example, please check whether the affected users have uploaded products as vendors or if there are any other variations in their client data.
