    Hello,

I do not want to use the product category pages of WooCommerce, but create my own category pages (custom page).

In the meantime, is it possible for the product filters to work on a custom page?
I use xstore products in elementor.
But price range etc. is not appearing.

    Many thanks in advance!

    Hello, @Glam.eu,

Thank you so much for purchasing our theme and contacting our support center.

We are pleased to inform you that we have successfully developed a custom product categories page on our test site using the Elementor plugin, located within the XStore Builders > Product Archive Builders section. We have ensured that the sidebar/filter is functioning correctly on our test site.

For your convenience, we have prepared a video demonstration which can be found in the private content area for your reference.

Furthermore, we would appreciate it if you could create temporary wp-admin access and share the details via the private content area. This will allow us to review your settings and better understand the issue at hand.

We kindly recommend that you take a complete backup of your site before proceeding.

    Thank you for your cooperation.

    Warm regards,
    The 8Theme Team

    Thanks for fast reply!

I have now created various category pages with the builder. Thank you very much!

The filters also work, except for the category filter.
Could you have a look why it doesn’t work?

    Hello, @Glam.eu,

We are pleased to inform you that the technical issue you reported has been successfully resolved. To ensure that the changes are reflected on your end, we kindly ask that you clear your browser’s cache before revisiting your site.

Our team has disabled the AJAX filter option located within the XStore > Theme Options > WooCommerce > Shop > Shop Page Filters. This action has addressed the problem you were experiencing.

Furthermore, we have verified that the category filter is now functioning correctly. For your convenience, we have created an instructional video that demonstrates the solution. You can view this video in the private content area provided.

Should you require any further assistance or have additional questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to us.

    Many thanks!
    It worked!

    Why i cant use ajax?
I think, ajax is more user friendly and more modern instead of loading every time new page when setting a filter.
    You know what i mean?

    Hello, @Glam.eu,

    Thank you for your response.

1/ Thank you for sharing your thoughts! We completely agree that using AJAX for filtering is a more user-friendly and modern approach. It provides a smoother experience by updating content dynamically without the need to reload the entire page.

2/ Upon thorough examination of your website, we are pleased to inform you that we have not identified any issues. The Ajax filter option appears to be functioning correctly. It is our assessment that the difficulties you may have encountered could be attributed to caching problems.

To resolve this, we kindly suggest that you clear your browser’s cache. Alternatively, you may wish to access your site using a different browser or an incognito window to ensure that you are viewing the most recent version of your website.

For your convenience, we have created a video demonstration detailing the proper functionality of the Ajax filter on your site. You can find this video in the private content area for your reference.

Should you require any further assistance or have additional inquiries, please do not hesitate to reach out to us.

    Hello, @Glam.eu,

We would like to bring to your attention that if you have commenced utilizing builders, it is advisable to apply them across all product archives rather than limiting their use to a specific category. The recommended solution is to configure the display settings to show a template for all Product Archives, as illustrated in the following screenshot: https://prnt.sc/VuSGWJF3cngG.

Currently, you have templates designed for various categories. Therefore, it is necessary to create an additional template that will encompass all other Product Archives, including tags and the shop.

From a development perspective, I would like to clarify that since the system incorporates AJAX, the product blocks are replaced with those that have been found, which is understandable. However, if builders are used inconsistently—applied in some areas but not in others—this can lead to an issue where the blocks are unable to find their corresponding replacements, resulting in the hanging issue you are currently experiencing.

We trust that you will find this information useful and take the necessary steps to ensure a seamless and consistent user experience across your website.

Thank you very much for the detailed answer!
All right, then I know what to do.

I can only suggest that you fix this for the future.
All successful stores use individual category pages to display other images, promotions or news for the categories.

    Hello, @Glam.eu,

We are pleased to assist you!

Upon successfully creating and setting the template for the Shop on a global scale, as illustrated here: https://prnt.sc/VuSGWJF3cngG, you should encounter no issues when applying templates to categories, as shown in this example: https://prnt.sc/dWDhyLDqXMRp.

We suggest considering the replacement of the “Filter Products by Categories” widget in the sidebar with the “Product Categories” widget, which may prove to be beneficial for your needs.
