Different 'add to cart' between normal product and variant

    Hi there,

    when I have a “normal” product and add it to the cart, a pop-up appears with the info that the product was added successfully to the cart.
    http://test.greenyogashop.com/produkt/yogamatte-manduka-black-mat-pro/

    If I have a variant product and add it to the cart, there appears a banner/box above the product
    http://test.greenyogashop.com/produkt/yogamatte-manduka-eko-lite-thunder/

    Why is this? I want to have the pop-up also for the variant products, can you help me?

    Hello,

    Unfortunately ajax “add to cart” option is available only for single products. Please take our apologies but this option can’t be added for variable products.

    Hi Jack,

    thanks for your answer.
    I dont understand the sense of having different “add to cart” options. I mean, this is something which doesnt make sense to me at all. Why would you do something like this? Or were you not able to do it technically and then just left it as it is?
    Will this be added in your next updates?

    Hello,

    As you can see in Theme Options it’s mentioned that Ajax “Add to Cart” is available only for simple products: http://storage1.static.itmages.com/i/15/0721/h_1437484586_4473989_752966b1d3.png
    You can disable it to make all products be added to cart similarly.

    ok, this still doesnt make sense to me why its only available for simple products. Will it be added in one of your next releases?
