What is the difference between the “XStore” and “XStore Core” .po files?

Hello,
XStore is the theme (e.g xstore-de_DE.po should be placed in /wp-content/languages/themes/ folder https://xstore.helpscoutdocs.com/article/30-base-theme-translation ), XStore Core – plugin (translation files should be placed in /wp-content/languages/plugins folder).
