Default homepage template blank - by GetNatalie

Hi there. The website is http://www.bestofultimateevents.com

I have set “Home” or the default template as the static front page however it shows up blank. If I pick any one of the other templates the website works just fine. The template I need is the default one. Please check my website and let me know what the issue is. Thank you.

Hello,

You’re using old theme version and old versions for plugins.
Please update them https://www.8theme.com/download-plugins/ .
https://www.8theme.com/demo/docs/royal/#!/installation_upgrade (1.5 Theme Upgrade)

Don’t forget to create a back up of your files and database before update!

I updated everything and still the default homepage template is blank.

I noticed the WP Bakery Visual Composer, the Visual Composer Addons and Master Slider plugins need to be updated but I don’t know where to find these plugins. My due date to finish this website is today. I need this fixed asap please.

I have now gone as far as to download the theme fresh from themeforest.net, uninstall wordpress completely through bluehost, resinstall wordpress, add the fresh updated theme and all the updated plugins and it still won’t show me the default template in the homepage. Every other template is fine except for the default one.

I figured out that I needed to upload woocommerce to the site for the default theme to work. This will not be an ecommerce site however.
