Customize a category in colors and other elements

Hello, I have the Grocery Market installed, and I would like to know if it is possible to customize a specific category, basically my store is for groceries, but I want the background to be black in the liquor category and some colors to change so that it looks more elegant part, the rest of the store was still green. Is this possible with your template?

Hello, @SC,

Unfortunately, there is no such option in our theme to Customize in terms of colors the Specific Category, This requires extra Customization.

You can achieve it using Custom CSS, but it will be a bit tricky.

You have to inspect the particular category and then copy the particular category class: https://postimg.cc/64vYVvj0 and then set the Custom CSS for that particular class and add it under XStore >> Theme Settings >> Theme Custom CSS >> Global Custom CSS.

Hello, I have tried this solution, but it has not worked for me, I ask you to help me review it.

Additionally I have some other issues with the site:

1. I have loaded icons for all category menu items but icons only appear on some items, not all.

2. How do I modify the submenu of the categories and how do I add a submenu to other categories?

3. How do I hide the mobile menu icon on the desktop version (hamburger icon)

4. The instagram icon is not seen in the header despite having added it, only the Facebook icon appears.

5. The changes in the footer static block are not evidenced

6. I request your help to identify how I can change the background and other elements of the liquor category (licores)

Hello, thanks for your support, I have some requirements that I have not been able to solve

1. Not all filter categories appear in the search engine, only 3 appear. https://postimg.cc/9RcHwXJq

2. About hiding the hamburger icon on the desktop version is fine, but I have identified that in sizes from 993px to 1200px wide, the normal or mobile menu does not appear, the page is left without a menu, so If it is accessed from a device with these dimensions, the website will not be able to be navigated. https://postimg.cc/N5sLvBtF

3. I don’t know what happens with the translations, but I’m using Loco Translate to do them and for some reason after a few hours they are deleted or some even though they are translated they don’t appear translated, I don’t know if the translations are deleted when updating the XStore Core plugin and the template or when the cache expires, but I can’t translate the texts correctly. https://postimg.cc/qtyCMw5v

Hello, @SC,

1. Actually, it is because if you navigate to the dashboard >> Products >> Categories and check there are a total of 15 categories but only three categories have products all others are empty. So once you will add the products to the other categories they will start appearing in the search box categories list automatically.

2. There was a CSS code that caused the issue. Check the code image: https://postimg.cc/ftWfNXWz I have removed it. So that the custom code that I added now in the theme options check here: https://postimg.cc/cgjgb8r5 start working and your issue is resolved. Here is the resulting image: https://postimg.cc/68Xhtfky please check back to your site after clearing the browser cache.

3. Actually you faced this issue because you have not placed the language files in the proper folder, I have moved your language files under wp-content/languages/loco/themes and now you will never lose your files whenever you will update the theme.

Hello, @SC,

1. “SIGN IN, WISHLIST, SALE” – please check now, we’ve re-saved Theme Options.

About others, provide FTP access, and we will regenerate the .pot file for the theme. If you do not know how to create an FTP contact with your hosting provider, they will help you.

2. I have just checked your site now and the compare is working perfectly fine for me, please see this screenshot: https://postimg.cc/34XQkk26 it must be the cache issue at your end nothing else, try to clear the cache and check back.
