    Hello Support,

On my website, http://www.fashion-arena.ro , i must create different pages according to product categories. But my struggle is with sidebars. I am trying to make custom sidebars for my pages, using Woocommerce filter widgets and 8Theme Brands widget, for people to search using specific attributes of the products.
I”ve created sidebars, assigned them, but not showing on pages.

    1) What i am doing wrong with sitebars?
    2) It can be implemented, Shop Page function to hide/show filters in my pages? I really love it.

    thanks.

    Hello,

Please specify page links where you are trying to create custom sidebars.
As for your 2-nd question unfortunately it is not clear, please describe it with more details and show us a screenshot. Thank you.

    Best regards,
    Jack Richardson.

    1) I want to make pages with my specific products:
    HAINE (CLOTHES) – http://www.fashion-arena.ro/categorie/imbracaminte/,
    GENTI (BAGS) – http://www.fashion-arena.ro/categorie/genti/
    PROMOTII (SALE) – http://www.fashion-arena.ro/categorie/promotii/
    NOUTATI (NEW) – http://www.fashion-arena.ro/categorie/noutati/
But my trouble is how can i set a sidebar to those pages, using Woocommerce and 8Theme widgets for filter them. I’ve tryed to assign a existing sidebar, i’ve even created new ones, but they are not showing in my pages.
For now, i assigned to main menu, as a temporary solution, product categories, in this way i managed to use the seachable sidebars.

    2) If the problem above is solved, it is possible to use the HIDDEN SIDEBAR feature implemented in WooPress?

    Hello,

    1. Please take our apologies but there is no such possibility to show different sidebars on category pages.
    We can only suggest you to create pages with names of your categories and use Products element in Visual Composer editor to mark what products to show;
then create separate menus in Appearance > Menus for each category page and add needed product categories.
After that go to Appearance > Widgets, create custom sidebars and add Custom Menu widget there and select the needed menu you created.
Then you’ll be able to select custom sidebar in page settings in Widget Area section http://storage5.static.itmages.com/i/16/0225/h_1456387859_9619664_175c4189d3.png .

    2. Unfortunately this feature can’t be used for pages. Sorry.

    Best regards,
    Jack Richardson.

    1) I’ve created a new page, WOMEN. Here i want to put all the women’s products. For that i’ve used EIGHT THEME VISUAL COMPOSER PRODUCTS Element, and set to display all products in WOMEN category.

    2) I’ve set “Sidebar Position – Left Sidebar” and “Widget Area – Shop Sidebar”

    3) This is how it looks my shop sidebar structure, the widgets i need to make a filterable sidebar for my products in women category.

    4) Publish.

    5) Result: a page where products appear in order, but no sidebar, to filter them by size, price etc…

    Hello,

As I see you are using woocommerce filters widgets in sidebar on your custom page but they only work on woocommerce product pages not on custom ones. Please take our apologies but we can do nothing as this is standard woocommerce rule.

    Best regards,
    Jack Richardson.

    I see now…
So if i whant to implement a sidebar to filter my products, i will need a wordpress plugin, right?

    1) Could you recommed me a compatible plugin?

    2) If i use in main menu, product category and activate “Hidden Sidebar” in 8Theme Options Panel i can filter my products…
    please see: http://www.fashion-arena.ro/categorie/whats-new/

But, if i turn off “Hidden Sidebar”, no sidebar is showing. I can’t figure it out why this happens.

Thank you very much for support.

    Hello,

    1. Sorry but we can’t recommend you any plugins.

    2. If you turn off hidden sidebar you need to disable “Full width” option in Theme Options > Shop to display sidebar on products page.

    Best regards,
    Jack Richardson.
