Hi – Before I go ahead and try and create something similar, is this readily available in the theme via a class?

Ok – I couldn’t wait and had to try. I got really close but it for some reason doesn’t trigger the Add to Cart button. Any thoughts on what I’m missing?

If we get this figured out, can we include this as part of the theme? Default dropdown are so not cool anymore (“,). I know it’s minor, but these details count!

Hello,

We used custom selects in the previous version of XStore before the 5.0 (fancy select) but we removed this additional custom script to speed up the theme. I’ll pass your suggestion to our developers and I will also ask to add maybe some option to allow users to enable custom selects and inform them that it may slow down the site a little bit because uses the additional script.

Can we make the selection trigger on select pages. So we give users the option to choose whether it’s active on shop pages or non shop pages. That’s help from not calling the script unnecessarily 🙂

Yes, it’s possible but then every page requires verification if this is WC page or not and it also takes some time. I passed your proposition to our developers and they will discuss.

Hello,

I have sent your request to our developers but they have not confirmed that they will implement this in next update yet. The meeting and discussion about new theme options should be at the end of the month as I know. Once I get any new information about this I’ll inform you.
