Hi. I’m trying to create a product with multiple custom tabs. Each product will have different custom tabs.

Product description doesn’t use global font face (set in the theme customisation) as well as custom tabs don’t use this font (bug?). This font is only used when the page is created through Elementor. However, I can’t use Elementor when I want to add custom tabs. Please, do you have a solution?

I’d prefer to use Elementor just like you do in the pre-built products showcase even for the additional tabs, not just the main product description.

    Thank you.

    Hello, @Mirek,

In order to achieve your desired result, please adhere to the following instructions:

    1. Navigate to WP-Dashboard >> Static Blocks and create a new static block.
    2. Insert the content in the Static Block using the Elementor page builder and set the Font Styling according to your requirements.
    3. Once completed, publish the static block.
    4. Proceed to WP-Dashboard >> Products.
    5. Edit each product individually.
    6. After editing, scroll down to the bottom where you will find Xstore Options.
    7. Navigate to Page Xstore Options >> Single Layout.
    8. Assign a Title for the Custom Tab.
    9. In the Tab content, paste the static block shortcode.
    10. Publish the product and refresh the site after clearing the browser cache.

Hi Tony. Thank you for your response.

This works if I want to add one additional tab. However, I’m looking to add 2-3 additional tabs which are different for each product. The theme doesn’t support this.

I can use the Custom Product Tabs plugin which works great but I don’t get the formatting. I can try to mimic the formatting with my own html + css but the downfall is the theme doesn’t respect the global font I set in the theme customisation. What do you suppose I can do?

    Thank you.

I tried adding the generated shortcode to the tab created using Custom Product Tabs plugin and that seems to work. This way I can add multiple tabs for one product.

The issue is, however, this creates too many static blocks. It also poses an issue if Google indexes these static blocks as pages and people will visit them which is not what anyone would want.

    Hello, @Mirek,

We are pleased to hear that the static blocks are functioning well with your Custom Tabs plugin.

However, we understand your concern regarding the multiple blocks affecting the SEO of your site. Unfortunately, we must inform you that creating multiple blocks is the only feasible method if you wish to display different content for different tabs for specific products. Currently, there is no alternative solution.

For your SEO concerns, we recommend using a plugin such as Yoast SEO, which may assist in resolving any SEO-related issues.

We appreciate your understanding in this matter.

Ok. What about the bug which causes the theme not to use the chosen font for product description unless I go through Elementor?

I was able to solve the tabs request with a custom code.
The font request was an error on my side.
Thank you for your prompt responses.
