hi, how can I custom order the categories for woocommerce?

I contacted woocommerce and they advised the following:

Under Products > Categories, when hovering over a category, you should see the cursor change to something that remotely resembles a compass (four arrows pointing up, down, left and right) to indicate that this item can be dragged and dropped into place. Essentially you can change the order of your categories by dragging them in the order you’d like, and then letting go of the cursor.

Just a fair warning: Despite this being the default WooCommerce behaviour, some themes override this entirely with their own customer ordering. In case the dragging-and-dropping doesn’t work for you, first test things out on the base Twenty Sixteen theme to ensure that it works. From that point forwards, you might have to get in touch with your theme developer for more feedback on this.

can you advise how I can custom order the categories?

    Hello,

Do you want to order categories in Shop page sidebar or using Product Categories element from VC editor?

    Regards,

    Hello,

You need edit the settings of Woocommerce Product Categories widget in Appearance > Widgets > Shop Sidebar and select “Category Order” for “Order by” setting.

    Regards,
    Eva Kemp.
