    Hello,

I had a child theme, but apparently with lots of problems.
I have activated the parent theme but I need to include the functions from my functions.php

How can I do that? Do you have like a custom functions in your theme folder?

    Hello,

You can download clean Royal Child Theme here:
    https://www.8theme.com/download-plugins/
Then you can move all your changes there.

    Regards,
    Robert Hall.

Our site doesnt work with a child theme.
I dont know if you are aware of our numerous problems. We have tried with our child theme and with your “clean” childtheme.
When we had an active child theme our cart didnt work, hence the reason why we want to use the parent theme. However, our site is running extreamly slow. 1-10 min to enter the site, 10 min to add something to the cart. It is not normal!

We had included some code in our functions.php like the heartbeat control and to decueue some woocommerce files, and the site was running a bit faster, but still slow..

Is there another way to include our functions? Like maybe creating a file called custom.functions.php inside the royal theme folder?

    Thanks

    Hello,

I’ve created a child theme for you and activated it.
    Please check your site.
Also as I see you’ve been already replied regarding slowness of the site in the topic:
    https://www.8theme.com/topic/site-is-still-running-extremely-slow/

There is no possibility to create custom.functions.php in the parent theme.

    Best regards,
    Jack Richardson.

    Hello,

Have you changed WP Dashboard credentials? We can’t log in now.
Also your site is working fine on our side.
Please specify what exactly isn’t working.
Did you clear browser cache before checking the site with child theme activated?
Also clear “cache” folder via FTP in wp-content directory.

    Thank you.
    Best regards,
    Jack Richardson.
