Hi – after updating to the most recent xstore theme, I have been experiencing issues with css generated files (via the theme) being generated with absolute paths. I have a staging site where I implement all my updates, changes, enhancements prior to pushing live. When I push the changes live, these absolute paths are carried over to the live environment and as a result, I must manually go in and update the paths to reflect the live site URL (not the staging site). This is specifically happening with the google fonts that are selected in the theme settings/customization. After working with my tech group, they commented “Most themes out there do not save the URLs directly into their CSS files.” – is there a reason this is the case with the Xstore theme or is this a (potential) bug? I am after a solution where I do not need to manually do this every time there are changes to the (staging) site and then break once pushed live.

    Hello,

Theme options based on the Kirki framework and this is the way how Kirki downloads fonts to local and saves path. We are working on major theme options update and we’ll try to improve this moment in that major update.
At this moment you need to remove the fonts folder and re-save options after migration. It generates correct URLs.

    Regards
